If you are looking for a hotel that has good food, the beach, wonderful staff in Turkey then this hotel is the one hotel for you. What we loved about the hotel is the fact that we were upgraded into sea view upon arrival even though we didn't pay for it. Thank you Crystal Sunrise! We went all inclusive and it appears that is the best decision we made and many people choose that option. The beach is right there in front of you so no need to travel far and you don't have to fight for the sunbeds as the hotel provides to you by the pools (there are 4 outdoor and 1 in door pools). The food is brilliant to be honest and it all seemed fresh. There is enough variety to suits people's palates. The Turkish Al Carte wasn't to our expectation but that was minor. Guests who have been there twice mentioned that the Italian Al Carte used to be free but now guests have to pay for this so it will be great if this al carte is available along with the Turkish and Mexican Al Carte. So basically you will get 1 complimentary al carte. We advise you book it as soon as you arrive. The best bits - the adult only pool (if you don't have children with you) is amazing. The waitress there (sorry for forgetting her name) was wonderful and came around every so often with drinks of your choice or better still you can swim to the poolside bar and have all sort of drinks. They also have a disco, which was a bit quiet most evenings but nonetheless it was there if you want to party until 2am. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is lobby bar which is open 24hrs so if you want to drink to your hearts content then the staff are definitely willing to serve you drinks. The waiters and waitresses were pleasant and we want to thank them for making our stay brilliant. We went there as a couple and the hotel is brilliant for those couples or families looking to travel. To make it a bonus we also made new friends too which is awesome! Enjoy your holiday!
Stayed at this hotel second week of July. From the moment we arrived we realised what a fantastic hotel this was. It's in a great location right on the beach. The rooms we were allocated were superb with a side sea view overlooking the adult pool. The rooms are kept very clean by very hard working cleaners. However the hairdryer is rubbish so if you have long hair like me take your own! All areas of the hotel are kept exceptionally clean and in general the whole hotel was maintained to a high standard although the hotel is in need of a bit of tlc in certain areas such as paintwork etc. . All members of staff were extremely polite and attentive especially bar staff..in particular Ali. Drinks were of a good quality and more often than not served at your table by very efficient and hard-working waiters. Imported drinks are available in the lobby bar but you have to ask for them as they are kept in a safe underneath the bar !! The hotel covers a vast area and you need a week to find your way around and really appreciate all of the facilities that are available. There is always something to see and do our particular favourite was the phaselis resturant right on the beach where snack meals are served at your table between 12.30 and 4pm a nice change from the other buffet style resturants,a little gem of a place offering shade from the midday sun and much less busy than the alternatives. The standard of entertainment was high offering international artists in the evening providing music and dance spectaculars. The reason we are not giving this hotel 5 is mainly down to the main resturant experience in the evening's The food itself was quite reasonable and did appear to improve as the week went on but unfortunately in our opinion was not 5 star quality. At times the resturant became a bit of a cattle market with people darting in all directions an accident waiting to happen. I feel that the layout of the resturant buffet area needs a total rethink with each section being more clearly identified as it takes a while to work out where everything is located and everthing is spread out in no particular order which does encourage certain people to push in and ignore the queues !! Although the al fresco dining with stunning views of the coast line did help to compensate for this. We did notice that on the last day as the hotel became very busy the general service appeared to deteriorate with dirty plates being left on tables longer and slow drinks service, maybe due to the lack of staff. On the whole we would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future and would definatly recommend it to anyone.😆😎
Just returned from a family holiday in the Crystal Sunrise Queen where myself, my husband & 2 sons (aged 14 & 9) stayed for 13 nights. We normally holiday in Tenerife but were attracted by the option of 5 star all inclusive for the same price as Tenerife self catering. So we were excited about the prospect of the promised luxury. Although good, it is fair to say the 'luxury' wasn't as grand as we had anticipated. We stayed in the family block on the ground floor (room 4003) and the room was large, spacious and had excellent air conditioning.; needed in the 43 degree heat. We had a large and very comfortable king size bed and the kids had single beds in a separate room. No complaints at all about our room. Towels and sheets were changed daily, room was immaculate throughout. Mini bar in the fridge was also restocked daily with water, beer and fizzy drinks. Food was excellent throughout our stay so no complaints about that, although drinks service and table clearance could have been better. Alcoholic drinks were not great, Rose wine was palatable and gin was okay but in general I'd say alcohol options were disappointing and that includes the sugary sweet cocktails. Definitely not premium alcohol options. The complex is very spread out and it took us 3 or 4 days to find our bearings. There are zonal pool areas for adults, teens and kids; which are okay (depending on your viewpoint), but I found most pool areas lacked atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the 3 water slides and the football pitch but were often bored through the day as there were no real activities for them. We did nip into the Crystal Sunset Resort which is immediately next door and had far better water slides and a more vibrant pool area (although you are not technically allowed to do this). The private beach area is great and the hotel location is also superb. Staff on reception and waiting staff were a mixed bag; some were excellent with others looking like any request was too much trouble. We asked early on in the holiday if we could keep our room on later on our final day as we had a 23:45 return flight home. We were told to check back on the day of departure if this was possible; so to be honest I knew there would be no prospect as the staff would have the cleaning rota ahead of the day. So no surprise when we were told on our last day that we couldn't. This led to the worst part of our holiday, a whole day out of our room and a horrific option for showering and getting ready for our trip home. This may be a lesser issue for others but I found it horrific. We were offered the opportunity to shower in the spa area ahead of our flight home and this sounded okay; how wrong was I. The showers were in a steaming hot area and there were literally only showers and mirrors, with the heat in the area being outrageous. So no plug sockets for electrical implements and the heat made it impossible to moisturise, dry hair or put on make up without it sliding straight off. First world problems maybe, but the check out experience on the final day spoiled our whole holiday experience. Definitely not a 5 star experience and it left us with a terrible impression of our stay, which means for this reason alone we will never return to this hotel.
Just back from a 2 week holiday in this hotel . I have nothing bad to say. Clean, lovley staff, good food, intertanment fun, we got a family room which was brilliant lots of space as I have a 13 year old . But the area can be noisy, not the hotels fault it was the people staying there at the time . Cocktails were lovley ( free of charge) . Views from restaurant and pool area are spectacular, Loved being able to eat outside at night looking over the sea. The only thing I can say that might be negative is that the pool towels need replacing. But nothing you cannot handle. If you have booked this hotel you will love it .
We had a excellent holiday with the entertainments of the animation team. Thanks the great Animation Team Members for making our holiday more enjoyful! Daily activities and night shows were very good.
The entertainment team got everyone involved very well and made the holiday very enjoyable as there was always something to do. Especially Lisa, Lera, Freddy, Carmen, Kartal, Ümit, Yigor, who were very eager to get everyone involved to ensure they could have the best holiday possible.
We had a wonderful time in this hotel. Everything was perfect. The resort, the beach and the staff were really welcoming. The animation team with Carmen, Ümit and all other guys were great. This resort has many pools that everyone may chose what suits best to them(adult only, different height, family area etc). We never felt crowded. I definitely recommend to everyone this hotel and i will come back next year!
We stayed at crystal sunrise for 10 days. And was surprised with poor standards. Hotel was huge and not ideal for young families, and it was old hotel. It was clean but you could smell bleach all day long. The biggest disappointment was the food, lack of choice and the amount that they would prepare. They would run out of certain food half way thru service, the quality of food was not a 5 stars food. They would prepare liver every third day to add to variety!! Staff were great, really friendly. Children's activities in the evening were great. The beach was sandy but there were huge rocks in the water really difficult to get in/out of the sea. The reasons why I booked where the good feedbacks on here and that it was thru Thomas Cook but was really disappointed!
Just returned from a week's stay at this fantastic resort, and I cannot find a fault with the hotel. The buffet food is excellent, constantly replenished with, if anything, too much choice! For all three main meals, the food is plentiful and very tasty. We also got a visit to one of the A La Carte restaurants. We picked the Seafood night at the Waterfall Restaurant. Beautiful setting, excellent service and incredible food. Fresh fish cooked to perfection. Even the broccoli was stupidly tasty! We had a family annexe room which was very spacious, comfortable and well cleaned. The mini bar was a great touch. There is plenty of choice for "pool days"; adults only, kids, music, quiet....whatever you feel like for that day which is so great being given the choice. The animation team are really fun without pushing anyone into doing anything, and they are enthusiastic without being irritating! I'm so pleased I booked this hotel and will definitely be returning.
We had an excellent time at this resort. The people were lovely and the food was amazing. We only came here for a relaxing week by the pool and to enjoy the lovely hot weather. We wasn't disappointed and would highly recommend staying here.
