This all-inclusive hotel is the best that I have visited in Europe. The level of architecture makes it a pleasure to relax in and interesting to explore. The choice of swimming pools or beach and ample provision of sunbeds was great. The catering staff provided a mouth-watering, delicious menu, and the quality of the cooking was excellent. The service provided by the waiters is the politest and friendliest that I've seen for a long time. A Turkish bath followed by aromatherapy massage was a highlight for my wife and I. An invite to a traditional Repeat Guest Dinner was very special on our first visit to the hotel because we were with family who had been before.
Let me tell you people out there why do we go back every year for the last six years.First of all the location is second to none literally on the beach and going back in October the weather is allways very good 30/32 degrees. It tcks every box the staff many of them are the same since we first went 6 years ago, they are very friendly and remember you when you come back. The food is excellent and you have an opportunity with Ala Carte also being free. The annimation team are so good with children we took our grandgaughter Ocean who is six for the first time she cried when she left one of the team was very good to my wife his name wasYEKTA if there were any problems about anything they would sort the issues out through theier great Manager Ali Ucas. The shows every night sitting outside is a real pleasure and are very good entertainment.Because we come back each year we have made many freinds who also come back the same time each year. Some have been coming back 15/20 years which proves the hotel is doing something right. Also being 5 star it is excellent value for money compared with other hotels. If there is one hotel you need to go to in your life choose CRYSTAL SUNRISE QUEEN LUXURY RESORT AND SPA Side Turkey What are you waiting for book now you will not be dissapointed. Also it is one of the best beaches in Turkey pure sand that goes on for miles.
We have returned to this hotel 6 times and have always had a great time. This year we visited in April and October and were very lucky with the weather. Staff are friendly and helpful, with many recognising you if you have been there before. There is a 'old friends reunion' dinner every Thursday where those returning are able to get together. This is a really nice touch as I have never experienced this anywhere else. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Everything is kept spotlessly clean although the hotel is showing signs of wear. Pool/beach towels are provided and can be changed daily. There is always a wide selection of food at all sittings and the al a carte restaurants provide a special experience. We always have a wonderful holiday here and will return. Many thanks to all the staff who make a real effort to make sure you enjoy your holiday.
Hotel in lovely cliff edge beach front setting ..lots to do. Alacarte restaurants nice ..buffet lots if selection and consistant...most staff nice... Downside cracks in walls rattan seats damaged ...a lot of older people mainly German. Animation team very bad ..Grease was worst ever and the singer's they hire need to stick to singing in the shower Turkish kavkas dance and Russian professionals were awesome
Absolute luxury they catered for our every need. We stayed for 7 days and it was pure bliss. The food was lovely, the views were gorgeous, entertainment in the evening was great and the staff were really friendly. We used the adult only pool daily and found no matter what time we went we had no problem getting sunbeds. Our whole break was stress-free and really relaxing, my husband and I had a fantastic week and i can't recommend this hotel highly enough 5*
This hotel is worth a visit, however,it is in need of some refurbishment, but architecturally a beautiful hotel, with comprehensive all inclusion.Have visited for many years and never disappointed. Will return again.
Stayed at the Crystal Sunrise Queen in October being our 3rd visit part of our Golden Wedding Celebrations so got upgraded to a sea view room which was a brilliant room. Very clean room and sheets and towels changed regularly .Only complaint is air con not great . From the minute we arrived at hotel which was midnight we were made so welcome at reception then Abdullah greeted us straight away recognizing us from previous visits, what a lovely guy. Used the adult pool and must give a mention to the lovely Ozlem who looked after us with drinks round the pool. The restaurants was just the same food was good. I shouldn't really mention anyone by name as everyone was very friendly ,however i will as Ayham,Kenan and the barman Tuncer looked after as well as known us from previous visits. Visited the Mexican and the Fish a la carte which both was excellent the waiter even took time to remove bones from my fish sorry didn't get his name. Well worth a visit. We were invited to the Old Friends Dinner which was also a bonus as you met other couples who spoke English as well. Last of all i must mention the general manager Ali Lucas and his assistants who walks about the hotel regularly making sure everything is good. You don't often see that at other hotels. Ok hotel is getting a bit tired at places but can't fault it at all. Looking to book again for May next year .
On 30th Sept to 14th. October 2017 we returned to the Crystal Sunrise Queen Luxury resort and Spa hotel in Side, Turkey. This was our 10th. Visit to this wonderful hotel. The weather was a consistent 28 degrees sunshine all two weeks apart from some rain on the middle Saturday, so a very good two weeks weatherwise. ARRIVAL We arrived in the hotel room at 2315 hours to a suprise welcome of a bowl of fruit and a bottle of red wine.My football team's game earlier in the day was being shown on the Sky Sports channel on the room TV. I have to say it was the most enjoyable un-packing of suitcases ever, and I finished the red wine (I usually drink white!) along with some fruit. So a somewhat wasted first day was pleasantly concluded by the hotels hospitality and caring for guests. Next day we breakfasted outside in the sunshine and we're welcomed by the waiters and waitresses who we knew by name, from previous visits. This hotel retains many members of stall, through all departments and is an essential 'ingredient ' in making the Sunrise Queen 'pie' . KITCHENS In the Panoramic restaurant is a TV screen with quarter views of different kitchens. Whilst talking later to the front desk manager, Altan, I mentioned the TV screen and said would it be possible to visit the kitchens? Altan asked if I was available right now, I was, and he asked the Reception manageress ARZU to accompany me on an escorted tour. We went downstairs, below the main restaurants and Arzu described in perfect English , the maze of corridors leading to the various kitchen areas. We wore protective hairnets and shoe protectors, as did all chefs and assistants working in the kitchens. A designated member of staff is trained and appointed to ensure the food provisions reached the restaurants in the top hygienic condition. The quality controller was visible during meals in each restaurant to ensure the quality standards were always maintained. I noticed a pressurised water system for cleaning salads, fruit etc. with separation procedures of meats etc prominent. RESTAURANTS All meals in each of the restaurants noted with high standards of presentation, cleanliness and clear labelling, all monitored by departmental specialist chefs and managers who are always visible. 4 Al-a-carte restaurants are also available for guests and are well served by waiters Chian and Abdil and their colleagues. Themed evenings in the Panoramic restaurant are also prominent and eating outside 'Al fresco' in the cooling temperatures are yet another pleasure. Lunch is provided in the Waterfall Restaurant and the Phassellis Al a carte restaurant , both by the beach. No bookings required. OLD FRIENDS DINNER As usual the best meal of the holiday is the old friends dinner, where repeat guests are invited by Mr. Ali UCAS, general manager, to attend the dinner. Tables of ten persons allow meeting of new friends and exchanges of enchanting experiences at this great hotel. ENTERTAINMENT Professsional dance shows (4no.) were the highlight of the evening entertainment and were supplemented by the animation team and live music groups during our holiday. SIDE The Roman town of Side itself is easily accessed by Taxi or local Dolmush buses or simply walking along the promenade, Taking around 45 to 50 minutes casual stroll in the beautiful sunshine. SUMMARY This magnificent sprawling hotel continues to delight so many people, who like ourselves, continue to return year after year. We will be booking next year's visits upon our return home!
After staying at this hotel in 2015 with the children, we knew we wanted to return. As this year we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to a week in this fantastic hotel. We booked a side sea view double, the room had a fabulous view looking out over the Mediterranean towards the old town. The food at every meal was first class with too many options to sometimes choose! The adults only pool was fantastic with a wonderful bar tender, Ozlema, who would regularly walk around taking orders and bringing your drinks over. The bars all had a good selection to choose from and very friendly staff. Our cleaner left wonderful creations from towels and flowers most days and was always happy to see us each morning, we even saw her outside the hotel and with a big smile she asked f we remembered her. A great holiday once again, we will return.
We have just returned from our holiday. Not the holiday we had planned as on our first day our "mum" fell on some stairs resulting in her having a head injury and being hospitalised for three nights. We would just like to thank the staff and hotel management for all their help and assistance at such a worrying time. They came to the hospital everyday to check if we needed anything , food or lifts back to hotel for shower and change and when our mum was discharged they had flowers and beautiful fruit and chocolates awaiting in our room which really cheered her up .obviously still a bit shaken and us being concerned of her falling again we stayed in most nights and ordered room service which is normally charged extra but the hotel would not let us pay for this which was really appreciated. We still managed to enjoy the remaining days and the weather was glorious , the resort itself is lovely , yes maybe could do with a freshen up and some rooms have views blocked by trees so if we had any suggestions it would be to have these (pretty as they are) removed and placed somewhere else so view is more cheerful . Some areas could do with a bit of extra lighting especially if you have old folk in your company. The hotel staff are lovely from bar to cleaners to reception and management very helpful , food is lovely ,rooms clean and cleaned every day . I've read some reviews on here and feel some are quite harsh , it's not five star by any means but I'm sure those complaining have not paid five star prices . On the whole I would definitely recommend this resort and it's sister resort next door the " Sunset" which the manager gave us a tour of and looks even more fantastic we will be back again in April .Thank you hotel staff for everything see you next year / Brannigans n Coxs ps if you are visiting and have any need to go to hospital please check your insurance covers you In private hospital or you may face a large bill , enjoy 😁
