Very good place. Calm. Staff members are very fair and professional. We recommend it for a familly with 2 childrens. Location is very closed to tram 3 (museums), bus and free ferry tout discover NDSM...
We chose this property due to its location. We found the apartments and neighborhood perfect for our family trip to Amsterdam. The tips from the receptionist were spot on and allowed us to experience wonderful neighborhood development ning experiences. The nearby playground was a hit with our youngsters and the quiet streets were a great jumping off point for our daily family bike rides.
Great spacious apartments!! We appreciate all the help the staff gave us with the washer and dryer and train tickets! The neighborhood was quiet but close to the tram line 3. We loved our time in Amsterdam!!
Great location, only two bus stops from Amsterdam Central Station. We did walk back from our daily excursions. Close to ferry that took us to bar and restaurant off pieste. All amenities perfect for a city location.
We stayed in a large 1 bed apartment on the third floor, facing the canal. The apartment was perfect for our needs, much more comfortable and spacious than hotels in the same price bracket. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The area is relaxed and is close to Central Station, a 20 minute walk or a couple of stops on the 22 or 48 bus just up the road. The Yays booklet you receive on arrival is a great source of info and recommendations for the local area. I highly recommend Yays and hope to stay in one of their other properties in Amsterdam the next time we visit.
We would highly recommend YAYS apartments. Incredibly friendly staff, good location (particularly for museums and parks as close to Tramline 3)... and situated of course in Amsterdam... my favourite place in the world.
Our family of four had a really great stay. The staff are fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was spotless, airy and bright and looked out onto the canal. The beds were large and very comfortable, it was perfect for the four of us. We would definitely stay again! Thank you.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday we were kindly left balloons and a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival; the rooms were really nice and so were the reception staff. The apartment was a bit of a walk away so we got a tram ticket to get to places
I stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter and 2 grandsons aged 3 years and 16 weeks. We stayed on ground floor near entrance. The apartment was off high quality. Supermarket nearby provides foods at reasonable prices. The staff were excellent at Yays especially Gerrit who helped us with arranging taxis and general enquiries with regards to our apartment and local area. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Big thankyou for OUR STAY.
Just returned from a 3 night stay with my husband and 10yr old son, and can't rate the place highly enough. Yes it is a walk out of the main tourist centre (approx 15-20mins), however this I think is a bonus and part of its charm as you have the benefits of a local experience with the benefit of being able to walk easily in to the other part of the city. Around the hotel there are 4-5 local bars/restaurant/cafes (that we found) and 5mins walk and you are in the heart of the trendy Haarlemmerdiijk area, with a wealth of shops, cafe's restaurants etc. The apartment itself was spacious & bright & airy, more than adequate for 3 of us. Kitchen was well equipped, though I would say we struggled with the oven but we got there in the end. One small issue we had was sorted within minutes of contacting reception so no real drama. Staff were all genuinely welcoming & helpful and there was someone on site 24hrs a day, between them the staff provided a 5* service, a real credit to the hotel. For those not really wanting to walk, there is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel (2-3mins) where the no48 bus will take you to centraal station in around 5mins for 3Euro (apparently it runs every 10-15mins). If staying here I would recommend going in the opposite direction and checking out Westerpark, especially if you have children in tow, as there is lots to entertain both them and the adults.
