This is a nice hotel for connecting or a quick trip Amsterdam. Complementary airport bus shuttle and the restaurants next door make it easy to see Amsterdam or for staying close before a flight. Nice!

Big hotel with lots of people . Nice shuttle service to and from airport. Have now stayed in three types of rooms . I'd recommend newer, remodeled rooms . Nice breakfast especially if it's included in room rate

Very nice hotel for a short visit to Amsterdam. Nice shuttle bus offered. Very nice amenities in hotel.

Stayed for two and 1/2 weeks over the December-January holiday season. Staff remembered us from last year. While not in downtown, a tram going there is within 5-10 walking. rooms with best views are on the "ring" side; quietest (and slightly cheaper rooms) rooms are on the other side. Parking in open lot is included. Restaurant has excellent vol-au-vent (a Belgian specialty). reception and dining room renovated within the past year. Staff informs plans are in place to start on the rooms, which were already fine by me.

We arrived in Amsterdam by train after traveling through other European countries. We had three days to spend in Amsterdam before flying back to Chicago. We wanted to stay close to the airport because we had a lot of luggage and this hotel was just about the right place for us. The shuttle took us to the airport, from which we took the train to Amsterdam proper and back to the hotel after spending in the city center. I would recommend this hotel only if you are transiting through Schiphol or want to stay near the airport, because it does take time to commute to/from the city.

I was very pleased with every thing about this hotel until I saw all the black mold in the shower the next morning. I was glad I was leaving because it made me wonder about the cleanliness of everything else in the room. Very disappointed.

Very difficult front desk staff. Does not work smoothly with orbitz. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Hotel is too big. No personal services. Host is not friendly because they are too busy. Avoid this hotel if you're looking for a cozy one.

I had a 17 hour layover and wanted a bath tub and a great bed. The bath tub was amazing with unlimited hot water and bath gel. The mattress and pillows were dreamy. The hotel had a lot of kids running in the halls but they quoted down by 10pm. Anyway, overall it was just what I needed plus free Wi-Fi and hotel shuttle.

Not sure why this is called "airport" hotel, except it offers a nice shuttle service to the terminal. Otherwise an expensive cab ride from the terminal on opposite side of freeway. No coffee/tea/water kettle/ice bucket in room. No face cloth; just bath towel/hand towel available. Room had only a shower, even though we selected tub & shower at booking. Twin beds were shoved together & could not be split away from each other for sleep privacy. Hallways still under renovation w/wallpaper missing/elevator under construction.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was a little way from the airport, but they offered a free shuttle that went every 20 min. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and inviting. The room we had was very spacious and had a nice deep soaking tub, which was a dream come true after an 8 hour flight and a chilly walk through rainy Amsterdam! Over all we were quite pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The only thing that was lacking was the internet, we were not able to connect to it.

This is a very large (and not that new) hotel. It is not that close to the airport. The shuttle is a big bus that stops outside the airport. There is a sign, but it is not that easy to find the stop. The hotel has a large dining room, but the least expensive entree was 17 Euro. It was a large meal, but sometimes one does not want that much to eat. Check-in was quick. It is true that the rooms still do not have facial tissues. Our room was almost out of toilet paper (and there was no spare roll anywhere), but when we called, someone brought 2 rolls right away. As in all European hotels, there are no wash cloths. You need to bring your own (or whatever you use to wash with). There were three towels each. The wi-fi worked well.

This is about the 6th visit to AMS and stay at this hotel. The hotel is a pleasant, comfortable hotel that has recently undergone a welcome renovation. The rooms are bright with lots of lights. The leisure/wellness center is good with an indoor pool, saunas, steam room and relaxing chairs. The airport shuttle is consistently on time. The morning crowds back to the airport are sometimes overwhelming but the huge shuttle bus accommodates them.

Reception is very professional. The food is excellent. Any question you have ask and it will be politely answered. Shuttle is a plus in ones coming and going from Schiphol.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good value for the money if you're staying overnight to catch an early flight to US. The location was somewhat in the middle of nowhere but that's alright if you're just spending the night and not expecting to do any sightseeing. Airport shuttle is a huge bonus!

Great stay, room is very spacious and very friendly staff

Very nice hotel, good services and free shuttle to airport

The hotel is beatiful, the saff is very kindly, breakfast is expensive, open the gym earlier (6 am at least).

stayed 2 night visiting cousin and friends, couldn't get my shower the first night, no hot water no heating at night.

The hotel was fine for the money though the rooms were tired. The location was the weakest part - it is not far from the airport but the shuttle only goes once an hour and timing it is tricky. Cabs are pricey!
