This is a charming, quirky, well-decorated boutique hotel. The location is excellent, right on a canal. The owners and other staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very clean with nice details, including heated floor tiles in the bathroom and enough electrical outlets. There is a bar on the ground floor but we could hear no noise while in the bedrooms above. It’s a fun place to stay.

This was such a nice place to stay on our visit to Amsterdam. I truly felt like I was staying in someone’s home. Rachael the owner is a wonderful host and her staff is so kind and very helpful. The breakfast is amazing also!

This is a hidden gem / 'Speakeasy'. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff & owners were gracious and accommodating. The cocktail bar was unique and inviting. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the WiFi was strong. The area is easy to get to from the metro or central train station - very walkable. Highly recommend!

Very warm and welcoming staff. Location is very central. Everything in the city is within a 20 minute walk, and many things are right around the corners. My wife has a gluten allergy, and they went out of their way to accommodate. The Italian restaurant across the street has excellent gluten free options fyi. Breakfast at Rosalie’s was a highlight of the day! Great cappuccinos and breakfast were included every morning. The only potential downside is there are stairs involved; so ask for the low rooms if that is an issue.

The owners and the two main staff at this 6 room boutique hotel are fantastic! Kevin and Gabriel do the breakfast and it is great! The owners, Rachel & Pepijn, are a wonderful couple and were very helpful during our 2 consecutive 3 night stays. The first reservation was for a canal room view and we were in #3. Great room! Since this room was not available for the 2nd stay, we were in a courtyard room, #2. In fairness, it is not as nice as #3. However, it had all the main features as the other room and one less set of stairs to climb. We recommend both as excellent stays in Amsterdam!

Staff were very courteous and individually attentive to us and other guests. We were kindly greeted each time we arrived back to the inn and each morning as we started our day. The inn was safe, walkable to main tourist sites, charming, and had wonderful amenities, like bag storage, a free and restocked daily mini bar, phenomenal breakfast, and a unique bar.

Everything was great. The staff was amazing. Above and beyond. My only concern was the stairs, which I believe would be a consideration in any spot long the canals. Tight and steep. Staff will navigate the stairs with your bag if needed. I was too tired each day coming back to enjoy a cocktail, but they do look amazing.
