Great hotel for those who want to avoid the noisy center of town. Located in a ritzy part of city close to top museums and concert hall and one of the largest parks in the city. Very friendly, efeecient, young staff.

Some of the staff members were very helpful, others were terrible. There was a rat in the room, but the balcony was nice.

I'm in my mid 20's and was hesitant on booking a place so far from the city, but overall I'm glad I did. It was right on the border of the suburbs and a 10 minute walk away from Museum Quarter. The location was great and the food at the bar and Michelin starred restaurant downstairs was excellent. The only complaint I have is with the room - very small and old. There is no complementary water and you have to request extra shampoo, conditioner, amenities. I put my wet robe on the floor and expected a clean one later that evening, but found it put back up on the hook after lying on the floor. A 5 star hotel in Europe is certainly not the same as one in the States - it's more like a 3.5 star hotel. But compared to seeing how grungy and old the other hotels were in the city, I'm glad I chose this one overall.

We really enjoyed the location very nr ear to main museums of Amsterdam.

We were in Amsterdam to tour museums and the city for the winter holidays! The location was quiet but accessible to all of the city and only 2 stops on the tram to major museums! The staff was incredibly helpful with everything so do seek their advice - they helped to make this an even more enjoyable trip. The hotel does not have many amenities for exercise on site but we did manage to walk around the city for many hours - so much to see and do! We would certainly stay there again.

Fancy for a student, but well worth it. Free upgrade to business wing, clean and comfortable with espresso machine and dutch cookies. A little far from center, but mass transit available.

A classy place, a little removed from the downtown bustle, but close to the museums and Beethoven square. Normally don't spend so much on hotels, but the service here was top notch and I will return.

overall i enjoyed my stay and would go back again.

Great location in a beautiful neighborhood. Short walk to Tram station to take you anywhere in the city. Very convenient. Hotel staff great! Very helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. My flight arrived at 6:00.am, check in time is 3:00 pm, but they set me up in a room when I first arrived. Great Help! Hope to go back soon! Great experience!

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel in the most beautiful area. Slightly out of walking distance to Dam square, but the museums,Vondel park, and many, many restaurants ,cafés and trams close by.

The Bilderberg lives up to its 5 Star rating. Luxurious rooms and amazing restaurant.

The hotel is not in the center of everything, but we caught various trams a short walk from the hotel at all hours and was quickly in the center of town. We enjoyed the clean, modern rooms with plenty of space for two people.

Nos recibieron de forma amable. Nos ayudaron ante cada consulta de forma cortes y pronta. La calidad del desayuno excelente. Recomendado 100%.

Peaceful stay at a bargain price. Rooms are nice, comfy and clean. Area is nice and quiet, not too far from Vondelpark but far from central Amsterdam. I hated having to pay for wifi, especially since it didn't even work that well. And the air conditioning was awful. It made noises, but I don't think it actually cooled the room. I woke up sweating nearly every night.

I have travelled to this hotel on seveal occasions and enjoyed my stay. The staff is considerate and helpful. If your familiar with the tram system, you can get where ever you need to go in the city. The tram stop is a three minute walk. The location is also very quite with little street noise. Highly recommended.

Perfect no frills hotel for business travelers. Rooms service food was a bit sub-par but again, for a work trip the hotel is clean, and very functional. Above average staff who were very friendly and professional.

This is a very nice hotel, located in a wonderful town. Unfortunately, they do not provide the services of a top hotel. Currency exchange limited to $100 per day, not amenity offerings for people like myself that was stranded with no baggage because of a weather delay, etc. However, the people were great and the restaurant was above excellent. Overall very, very nice. Just not one of the best.

We got an executive room. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Never slept better. Not the best location if you wanted to be in the middle of amsterdam. However the 5 & 24 trams get you anywhere you want and it is a short walk to the stops. Great jacuzzi tub. Great Staff. I lived in Holland for a year so I didnt need help getting around but they were very friendly. Two down sides were. they charge a lot for internet & restaurant was closed and room service is extremely expensive. Fast tram ride to Amsterdam Zuid and direct to the airport. Biggest houses in the neighborhood I've ever seen in Holland.

We spent three nights in a standard room and we absolutely loved it. Very clean, comfortable beds. The only thing missing was a free Internet access.

Pleasant helpful and patient desk staff Considerate and helpful but not completely reliable as to information given. Accessible through the Amsterdam South train station and the 5 tram heading north to Amsterdam center, exit at Appollolaan street, 4 stops, walk West a block turn right and you are on the street of the hotel. Five minute walk. No gym facilities, no health spa, no pool. Cleanly and considerate room cleanup. Requested a 50 euro per day commitment for any extra purchases. Returned at the end of the stay
