Thank you Tammy for a very comfortable stay last week. It came after a very long day of driving and even though we arrived after hours, getting checked-in and up to our room was effortless.. The bed was a cloud with pillows and the breakfast was terrific!

My friend recommended this place to me and it's was the most wonderful relaxing experience. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. Great experience. Thank

Great bed and breakfast, my wife and I and spent 4 nights in the B&B while visiting Albuquerque and surrounding areas. And will be our first choice for accommodations when returning to the area. The staff was very accommodating and the owner Tammy went out of her way to assure that our visit exceeded our expectations. The plates of chocolate chip cookies were a favorite for my wife. The accommodations and food were great and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place was by far the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at. My boyfriend and I went for just a quick and quiet get away and this B&B was perfect. From the plates of chocolate chip cookies to the amenities in the rooms, they had such an attention to detail that I have never seen. Everyone was so friendly and the homemade granola was delicious!! I highly recommend this B&B!

What a hidden gem of Albuquerque. This was a stay-cation for wife and me. We've never made the opportunity stay downtown and walk everything and enjoy the night out without having to travel an hour home. What a place; what a great staff; what great food, ambiance, eye for detail. We completely loved this treasure and will definitely return.

Mauger house is a an attractive Victorian set in Albuquerque . Oddly enough Albuquerque has many victorian style homes in addition to the Southwestern style architecture. It has expansive parking ,Charming rooms and an owner who tries very hard to serve a lovely B&B breakfast. I recommend the first floor rooms, otherwise a steep but lovely staircase.

I stayed at the Mauger Estate B&B for four nights in October and absolutely loved it. I was in town for a conference at the convention center, which is about a 10 minute walk away. The room was absolutely perfect - immaculately clean but homey-feeling. There was a small refrigerator stocked with drinks, which came in quite handy since my body wasn't used to the dry Albuquerque weather. I slept GREAT at night, despite the fact that my room was just off the kitchen (they are very very quiet with the breakfast set up). The food was outstanding, from the breakfast potato and cheese frittatas to the afternoon wine and cheese to the late-night cookies (I may have eaten too many of those...time to get back to the gym). The staff was extremely sweet. Many thanks for a wonderful stay - I only wish I'd been able to bring my family with me. They would have loved it.

This is a very nice B&B. Very friendly innkeepers and it is located very close to old-town Albuquerque. Very nice rooms, well decorated with great beds. Pleasant seats outside which you can also use for breakfast. Breakfast is what you may expect in a B&B, very well done!

This was a great find and so much better than the some of the best of hotels in Albuquerque - assuming of course that you refer the more informal and relaxed atmosphere of what was once a stately NM home. What was great - at least in my opinion - was their system for giving us access even though we arrived round about 10pm in the evening when no one was around. A cheery note on the main door of this stately home welcomed us by first name and showed us how to get in and where our rooms were. It was all done so simply - even we understood how things worked!! - and in such a welcoming manner that we felt as though we had arrived home. The breakfast was quite something!! The wife loved it as did our son and his wife - but maybe they are more attuned to the American palate than I. The breakfast juice, fruit and granola were of course all excellent - and beautifully laid out. In fact the granola was so good that we purchased a bag from them and fully intend reverse engineering their recipe when we get home. The main breakfast course was to me a dessert - but then again I must remember we are currently in the US!! it was an incredible version of French toast - more a blueberry pie to my eyes and palate.....yet fully relished by the others in our party, and I suppose, reluctantly I have to admit, myself. But I would have preferred the more staid version of French Toast at this early hour - i.e. simply bread dipped in egg and fried!!!! Or just plain old scrambled eggs and bacon!! Maybe they were available but I never enquired as I was guided by the family directly to the blueberry French Toast pie - or whatever it was!!! The staff were very kind and accommodating - we had a long chat with them in the kitchen about this and that - sharing travel stories. They know their business and keep the place immaculate - but in a way that it feels home from home. Our rooms on the first floor were clean, bright and airy with a super comfortable bed and a more than adequate en suite shower and loo. It really is very comfy and we would recommend it highly.

This was my second stay at the Mauger Estate and I'm so glad that I came back-this time with my husband. The Mauger Estate is consistently a great place to stay. They make a delicious, fresh and healthy homemade breakfast (I really appreciated how they went the extra mile to make a gluten-free version for me too). The rooms are very comfortable, well-appointed, clean and quiet and the staff is always totally friendly and helpful. Happy hour on the pretty porch is also a treat and something I looked forward to.
