Had a good stay in lovely Albufeira.The property is in a good location, 5mins walk to a supermarket, 10 to good restaurants, old town about 35mins and Ubers pretty cheap, about 6 to get to the marina end.Good communication from the host and let us arrive before the checkin time.The property overall was comfortable, not as pristine, new or large as the pictures make it look, living room and kitchen were lovely and comfortable, the bathrooms showing signs of wear, bed firm but comfortable with good aircon throughout.The pool, small but did the job, sadly the general patio area wasn’t overly clean, no cover from the sun till midday, kept finding broken glass, also sadly the view from the pool is blocked by a pool cover now. The roof terrace was also very neglected, the egg chair in bits left all across the floor and in general just very unused/loved.Also sadly the master bed is joined to the next property and then tenants didn’t adhere to the 10pm quiet time waking us or keeping us awake most nights.And lastly there was lacking a basic care package, only 2 toilet rolls and no spare bin liners. For the price I’d have expected not to need to immediately take a trip to the supermarket for household basics.All in all we made our stay great, but we paid more to get a lovely comfortable luxury stay but for the premium price the property was a definite let down.
