This Hotel was great place for a stop off on my drive , i had 3 small dogs with me and was made very welcome . They gave me a room with a balcony at no extra cost so the dogs could go out , I found a place to eat just down the road and the dogs came in with me , Breakfast at the Hotel had a good selection and set me up for the day .
A wonderful location, a very interesting small hotel that has very comfortable and enjoyable rooms. Quiet, well furnished and close to the waterfront and, if you go with your family, very close to the beaches and children's entertainment areas. We tried to get reservations along the pedestrian walkway, located close to the hotel, but no such luck on a Sunday night. So we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was horrible. The service was fine, the table was well set. The food was terrible (see boiled chicken breast) The price was exorbitant for the quality of the food Go elsewhere to eat
WE found the hotel very good, and the rooms very nice and very clean so all together a very fine stay with a pleasant staff. We have never sean a hotel with sutch a great variaty of ceramics and paintings on the walls.
We stayed here for one night during our trip to Italian Alps. Hotel has a good location near the city centre and Savona is only a 3 kilometres away. Hotel has own parking garage which is nice because parking space is limited in the city. Breakfast is very good. The best part is that public beach is located just across the street!
I went there in August with a friend of mine . The rooms are cleaned, the breakfast is delicious . The hotel is near the main beaches just some minutes ! The staff is kind . I suggest you this place to spend your holidays !
Spent two weeks in this hotel during our 2015 summer holiday. We travelled with a baby so we wanted an appartment with air conditioning, kitchinette, dishwasher and washing maschine (it needs to be said that all of that was there and in reasonable working order). First we have to stress that this is BY NO MEANS a 4 star hotel, however, charging an astonishing amount of EUR 139 per night. The hotel furnishings are very basic and worse, they are completely worn out. The kitchinette doors were broken, the kitchen storage spaces and refrigerator dirty, the dishes completely worn out and the bathroom could also benefit from more thorough cleaning and refurbishment. Also, if you rent an appartment be prepared to receive NO cleaning service. They only change your towels and bedsheets upon request, otherwise you are on your own, however with only limited cleaning means - just a mop and a bucket, no broom, no vacuum cleaner at all. They also do NOT take out thrash which you need to take out yourself to the thrash cans outside of the hotel. On the positive note, the location of the hotel is unbeatable, it is few steps from the free beach with (most times) clean waters of Ligurian see, as well as the town center where the shops and restaurants are. Reasonably working free wifi is also a plus. Also the reception staff was nice and helpful, however, they can hardly do anything with this desolate state this hotel is in. The verdict: This hotel cannot be recommended unless major refurbihsment of the rooms takes place. For the price of EUR 139 per night it does not provide adequate value. Also we were suprised by the positive reviews the hotel receives since in our opinion they are undeserved.
This is "wanabe" 4* hotel. Tragic person on a reception, horrible thin garage (do not go there if you like your car) and not clean bathrooms. Wifi should be in all hotel free but reality is; there is something like wifi but without a signal and if you find signal, internet is not working. And last think you have to let your car keys on the reception desk. Funny thing is that they have on the reception desk 2 plaques from booking.com with evaluation. First from 2012 rate 8,1 and from 2013 rate 8. Nice downward trend.
Our first stay we had a large room, king bed, good pillows, large bath (though no shower curtain) and the fellow on the desk was great. See my review on booking.com. The second stay was not as good but the fellow on the desk was great. We arrived quite late due to arrival on the ferry from Corsica. When we opened the door to our room we were blasted with stale cigarette smoke! We were surprised because the room for the first stay was smoke free. The room could not be aired out and the smell was atrocious for non-smokers. I recommend that you specify non-smoking if that is an issue for you. Booking.com does not have that as an option so you must specify in the comments section.
We needed a hotel to break the road trip from France into Italy. The hotel is close to the exit and entry to the Autostrada and is easily located even without a GPS. The hotel is family run Italian style (rather than a chain). While not particularly ultra modern the room, bathroom and hotel common areas were large purposeful and clean. The staff were very helpful. There is secure parking under the building. The hotel is close to the beach front where there are restaurants and beach facilities. We had dinner in the hotel and this was wholesome as was the buffet breakfast and typical of the Italian Family approach to hospitality. While we stayed only overnight the hotel is close to Genoa and Savona if you choose to see more of the coast in this area.
We stayed here last year and have only just got round to posting a review as we are driving again toTuscany and wouldn't stay anywhere else both on the outawrd journey and the homeward journey (we live and work in the Loire Valley) The manager was friendly and helpful. All of the staff were wonderful. Room was spotless. Breakfast was outstanding. We can't wait to return.
