Stone Charming Villa 150 sq.m, 6 km From The Beaches, SPA, Gorgeous BBQ Area

The recent restoration of the house has been a labor of love, focusing on reusing materials: stone discovered under the old plaster, original terracotta paving, and chestnut wood for the ceilings. This unique blend of materials, combined with our meticulous attention to detail, creates an unforgettable, charming atmosphere. You'll always find tranquility in the house despite its proximity to downtown and distance from the summer bustle. The house is part of the private Borgo, with its first document dating back to 1522, nestled on the property of an ancient castle. It consists of three country houses: Villa la Maclura, Il Gombo, and a private house for our family. Each house features a pool, garden, chill-out area, BBQ, entrance, and car space. The villa boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one lounge, one lounge-diner, one smaller lounge /bedroom with total privacy, one large kitchen, and one utility room spread over two levels (150 sq.m.). The villa's ground floor and first floor are exclusively for guests, while we've reserved the independent top floor to ensure all the necessary assistance for a relaxing stay.
We recently installed air conditioning in the south bedrooms on the first floor for your comfort. The north bedroom has a large and elegant fan with wooden blades on the ceiling. (All that was unnecessary before the summer of 2023, as the house's elevated location at 380 meters above sea level provided nice natural cooling.) We have also fitted all bedroom windows with mosquito nets to ensure a peaceful and undisturbed sleep.
Outside, you'll find a BBQ on the terrace garden at the ground floor level, perfect for al fresco dining. There's another BBQ in the large garden below, just a stone's throw from the private (exclusively for you) SPA. The outdoor area is fully equipped with comfortable garden furniture, inviting you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

*Due to technical reasons, the bookings between 31 March and 11 May 2025 need to be made seven days earlier.

*Villa La Nicchia is part of a single property, the ancient Borgo of the family castle; it comprises three detached but close houses and is 5.5 km from the center of Alassio. You can reach it by driving a typical Ligurian road, with two lanes and a certain number of curves, except for the last stretch (1,2 km), which is narrower for orographic reasons.
*The SPA, a private and relaxing property feature, is generally unavailable from the end of October to late March/mid-April due to the heating pump's inability to warm the water up to 30° if the external temperature is less than 15°, particularly at night. However, we encourage you to inquire about the current situation, as we must consider climate change and the recent upside-down seasons, which may affect the availability of the SPA during the Spring.
*Reading and following the house rules are part of the rental agreement. You will receive both before you come.
*Flexibility is our policy about many things, mainly two extra fees we want you to pay as you go. So, we also apply it regarding the additional fee due for good LPG heating (1), which we cannot quantify a priori. We will calculate the consumption with you on the morning of departure; the cost could be € 5,5 per m3.
The final cleaning cost (2) is not visible on the website payment summary because it varies according to the number of people and the number of nights stayed. The minimum payment is € 100, and the maximum is € 160, to be paid on the morning of departure.
*For your information, Alassio's Municipality Authority deliberated on accepting a tourist tax, € 1,5 per person per night, with payments only from the property's owner, not from any platform.
*Check-in will not be before 4:00 p.m.; check-out will not be after 09:30 a.m.
