We were just driving through and wanted a nice, comfortable hotel that was convenient to the motorway. That is what we got. Pool looked nice even though we didn't use it. Restaurant was excellent. Room was great with plenty of room and was clean. We used the Accor hotel group extensively and found Novotel to be uniformly very good.

A nice hotel with a beautiful garden, free parking and free WI-FI, breakfast is OK- but I missed some vegetables, clean room but they can renovate the carpet (maybe as a smoking room more often) - very nice and helpful staff, a good location next to the freeway and only 1.5 km from city center

Eventhough it was winter and cold outside, we do need the aircon to cool the room down but it was not working and it was very warm. So we had to open to window to let the cool air in but cannot leave it open all the time as we were on the lower level and it can be very noisy. Toilets are also small.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was kind, we had good breakfasts in nice restaurant, hotel lobby and bar were nice, garden as well. The parking was free, WiFi was free! Room was below-average - furniture and tv are oldfashioned, beds uncomfortable, bathroom oldfashioned,...To be honest, we expected some more for the money we payed.

We asked (twice) for a classical Twin Bedded Room. Instead, we had a room with a wide (single) bed and a 'depliant' couch with two more places. Overall, a wide room where it was difficult even to get up from the bed. Not to speak about the thick 'couettes', useful for the service but not at all trying to sleep under them. What a pity...

Here for business, just one night. We are not far from Aix, those who want to enjoy its vivid social life can easily get to downtown. I arrived late, dinner time, and tired so i decided to stay. This hotel is very well kept with a remarkable landscape and nice features. Its restaurant is good-looking, food is however just what you'd expect  from a middle-ranked hotel. What however is well above its average was the quality of the room: it is indeed a quiet place where you can finally take a good sleeping night: air conditioning can be switched off (very unusual and very  much appreciated feature) and window curtains do their job. Breakfast ok, prices ok

We spend only one night in our road trip to the French Alps. It is very well located close to the motorway and very convenient but needs some maintenance of the premises specially the rooms. We had diner at the restaurant at 9 PM and already some of the choices of the menu were not available which was quite disappointing considering that menu was not very extensive.

This city is exlent end very intersting to visit wtih kides. We anjoy very much eix. The hotel is not in the center and need a car toget ther. It is cleen and simpoll. Fod is nice. Evry tihng was jest ok.

I've stayed in a dozen or so Novotel hotels and usually found them reliable and good value for money so I was disappointed with this one. It is a little dated and the rooms are quite shabby although clean. The air-con was ineffectual on a warm evening and for some reason in July the beds had duvets on them! The biggest disappointment was the dinner which was overpriced for what was basically a very limited barbecue offering.

Stayed 3 nights and used as base for exploring Aix En Provence and surrounding towns. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! We were allowed to check in early, after taking the night from Paris to Marseille and driving up, that was truly great! Our room was ok. We asked for a quiet room and we got 213, not a quiet room, close to the elevator but not too bad. The room was reasonably large by French standards. It had a large brown stain on the ceiling but we chose not to complain as we didn't have the energy to move rooms. The queen size bed was comfortable. They had two cots set up for the kids. They were probably better than a sofa bed so the kids were content. The toilet is separate from the shower and sink - interesting and convenient. Neither had a door lock but we didn't need it. The shower was great with good water pressure. Our room came with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was great with good options. For hot food, they had eggs (boil your self or sort of scrabbled), bacon but instead of pulling the bacon apart and frying each piece, they just tried to fry the entire package at once - different - and sausages. Standard French baguette, tasty multigrain loaf, and white sandwich loaf. They rotated between pancakes, crepes and waffles while we were there. Coffee machine and lots of tea options available. Cereals, milk, lots of yogurts, orange and apple juice, cheeses and cold cuts. Best part was the fresh fruit - bananas, cherries, apricots and apples. The service was a lacking - the younger staff were very pleasant and I tipped when they were taking care of us. The older lady seemed indifferent to us. The hotel has a great pool and some activities for kids. The hotel seems to attract families - partially as it is difficult to find hotel rooms in France that can accommodate families with kids. They have good set of family activities available - badminton, bocce ball, ping pong, books and toys, and a video game table in the lobby. Some things that would make the place better -- ice machine (maybe that is just a North American standard), a coffee machine for guests - rooms have kettles but we prefer brewed coffee, cleaner carpets in the common areas, room safes are pretty standard elsewhere. Interesting that they have a Tesla super charging station in the parking lot. Also, we did experience an issue with maid service cleaning our room even though we asked for it to be left alone. Not a big deal and I'm going to assume someone knocked our do not disturb sign off the door.
