The room is too small even the TV is too small, the bathroom is so smell stink me and my husband very disappointed in this hotel, not so clean their keys it's so hard to use in the lift we try to request to change but still not working in the lift many times the lift take us in the wrong floor that's why my husband really pissed coz we need to wait another person to get inside in the lift and ask a favour to use their card at least my husband and I can go to the floor were our room.
Booked the executive king suite for one night, was very disappointed with the room. It was incredibly dirty, the towels/lounge and floor had stains on them. The bathroom was dirty. Had a awful sleep, bed was uncomfortable and it was not a king bed as requested but two singles pushed together. When we checked out they over charged me and the service was incredibly unorganised, confusinged, and as a whole I would have expected something a lot more professional. Very upset at what I got for the amount of money I paid and will not be returning here again.
Large apartment with full amenities such as stove top, dish washer, dryer, washing machine, microwave, fridge etc. Two televisions one in bedroom and in lounge/dining area. This apartment was a two bedroom but only booked a one bedroom apartment so other room was locked. Unfortunately no bath in this apartment but bathroom was spacious. Apartment was clean and tones of apartment were pleasant browns, orange, natural. View was great, overlooking North Tce and there was a large balcony. The pool was working but unfortunately renovations are still happening in the wet area so spa and plunge pool were out of action. Great apartment complex close to tram, rundle mall and restaurants/pubs etc. Staff Extremely friendly at reception, easy check in and check out. Overall a pleasant stay.
My mother Booked this hotel for my 23rd birthday as a gift. Was a below a average room for the $200 price tag but that was fine until around 9pm as me and my friends are going to head out a rude receptionist comes to the door and asks how many people I have in my room upon showing her I only had 5 including me she then continues to say I'm being evicted and have 10 mins to gather my things. Being slightly intoxicated I could not drive my car so was stranded in the city on my birthday in a thunder storm. My mother called the reception staff that same night and was told we were evicted on "a guess" in her words that we had more than 5 people in the room cause she saw a group of kids come down to the lobby around my age group! Then when my mother asked to have the general managers email address she was hung up on and then tried to call again and was again hung up on. Will be taking this further don't you worry about that.
I've been a regular visitor to this hotel but have had a break after repeated issues with poorly maintained rooms - appliances not working etc. I decided to give the Embassy one more try for a recent work trip. Huge mistake. After major maintenance issues in two different rooms, I was moved to the Oaks Horizons next door, with promises from the Embassy manager that he would contact me the next day to discuss how they would "make this right". Weeks later he has never contacted me, and I can't get a proper receipt for the stay from either property. One week - three rooms across two hotels. Enough. After being a long time customer I am permanently done with Oaks.
Dear Hotel Management, we are disappointed with the state of the hotel since we were there about 6 years ago. You do not meet the standards that you state and we left doubtful of returning. I would have appreciated leaving this feedback when were were there, however you did not provide the opportunity.
Very happy with this wonderful hotel. All staff, especially Peter, were always helpful and very professional. Could not have wished for better ! Loved the spacious apartment, large balcony, comfortable furniture, artistic paintings, large kitchen, all kitchen stocks replaced daily, room serviced daily - definitely did not expect that for a self contained apartment. We had a one bedroom deluxe apartment. Washing machine, dryer and drying rack. Excellent ! Very comfortable beds. Definitely 4 1/2 star. We had a balcony facing North Terrace. Wonderful views, especially at night. Everything worked and was of very good quality. Great location, across road from Convention Centre, train station. 5 min walk to CBD. We will be back on our next visit to Adelaide !
Stayed for a week in a great self contained apartment at Oaks Embassy. The room came with a separate bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, lounge/dining area and washing machine and Dryer. Everything you need for a decent length stay. In the reception area is a Coffee Club great for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't wish to cook for yourself in your apartment. This motel is very central and very close to the Adelaide Oval and beautiful Torrens river area. Very clean and service was great. Parking needs to be booked at the time of booking your room and costs an additional $20 per day. Would definitely stay here when we return to Adelaide.
We booked a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment and requested a balcony with a view if possible ( after reading on trip adviser that some balconies weren't great ) when we arrived the apartment we were given was a box ,tiny and the the balcony over looked the back of a building and although it was a 2 bedroom apartment had only 2 chairs and a small table ( nothing like the photos provided on the website ) .I was sure they must have put us in the wrong apartment . After speaking to reception the moved us to room 702 it was an older apartment but the lay out was better and it didn't feel so tiny . It was old and the carpet badly stained , but I didn't care because we had good views of the North terrace and the was light and airy . The biggest disappointment was the kettle & toaster sat on top of the microwave squashed into a tiny space and you couldn't open the microwave because the stove top was in the way . On arrival the male reception assistant was very abrupt when we needed to press the intercom button to access the parking ( didn't feel welcome at all ) however the female assistant dealt with us and was very pleasant . Over all it was ok because the location was great , we travel a lot and this could have been a better experience & really wouldn't take much to get these apartments up to scratch . Beds were very comfortable and no noise .
My husband and I recently stayed at Embassy for 6 days after changing hotels from Mantra. I'll say from the outset i'm a fussy person so when i checked in i had several requests regarding the apartment as i'm a light sleeper and like alot of natural light. From the moment we walked in and all through our stay Peter was friendly ,welcoming and very professional. He listened to my requests and changed our room around to one better suited to my needs. He then answered several other question regarding where to eat and shop. The apartment was perfect and his recomendations were great. My only complaint was the dated decor. The Coffee Club was also very handy. We enjoyed our stay and travel to Adelaide often for business so will be staying at Embassy from now on.
