With the exception of the toilet being mounted too high on the wall, the shower door shutting too loudly, and the shower drain being unable to cope with the discharge rate of the shower on full blast, I'd say this place was awesome. It's situated in a fun part of town. (The wife and I loved heading east of Morphett on Hindley.) The breakfast buffet was very good, so good I couldn't believe it was free -- and, as it turns out, it isn't, and not necessarily cheap, either, so don't expect the free stuff you get in a Holliday Inn Express, fellow Yanks. There's a cute rooftop pool & lounge area that I would have loved to hang around at if it wasn't winter - but the neighborhood was fun enough that we didn't need to rely on that. The staff was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I would give the place a 5/5 if it weren't for the bathroom deficits I mentioned earlier, but, honestly, bathrooms are a major reason a person needs a room in the first place, and this one wasn't as much of a refuge as I would have liked it to be.

I've stayed at the Rockford since I was a little girl. One thing never changes, the friendly, helpful service from all staff, reception, restaurant, sales and management. Great location to explore Adelaide with car parking on site. Thank you again team Rockford.... I'll be back! P.S. best hotel shower... EVER!!!

We stayed at the Rockford for one night to attend a family member's birthday. We had the Queen standard room on the first floor and it was spacious, modern and very comfortable. The staff were super polite, attentive and helpful. As we arrived in Adelaide around 8am so we asked if it was possible to have an early check-in. The manager on duty was very willing to assist with our requirement and we had our room ready as soon as they could due to the hotel being full. We managed to check in at 10am which was a massive help. We highly recommend this hotel and it will definitely be our accommodation of choice when returning to Adelaide.

Central location with easy access to the free public transport. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. Only one minor criticism, and that is that the on/off switch for the over bed light is out of reach, so one has to get out of bed to turn off the reading light! Also Accor Advantage Plus members don't receive a discount on meals served at the bar when the restaurant is closed.

This is a nice centrally located hotel. The room was very clean and spacious with modern fittings and a comfortable bed. I went for the $1 breakfast deal! (Just $1 at the time of booking!). There was a great selection of hot and cold options available. I would definitely stay here again

Went over for the AFL. Location of the hotel is 1.7km walking distance to Adelaide Oval and about 1.0km into the Rundle Mall. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Great room. Great breakfast. Great location - although it is in an area of night clubs, massage parlours and the like, we felt very safe (I expect that around 2.00am in the morning you might want to avoid). Couple in their late 50's. Would stay again for sure. Uber to the airport around $16.

We stayed here during our holiday in Australia and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The room was big and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom had a walk-in shower that was the best one of our holiday so far, it was great. Free wifi was useful. We were surprised that there wasn't a safe in the hotel room but the room information did say reception would hold valuables, so we left our passports and travel documents with them and were given a receipt for them. I here was a lovely rooftop pool and sauna but we didn't use them (we were going to go for a swim but the water felt too cold). We used the laundry facilities in the hotel - you paid to was but the drying was free. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but we had bar meals at night and the food was good. The only downside was that we could hear loud music on the Saturday night but it wasn't too loud that it was unbearable. Would we stay here again? Yes, definitely, if we ever came back to Adelaide.

An older building, but very neat and clean. Large rooms. Spa separate from shower. Good in-house bar and restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff. Easy walking distance to shopping, galleries, convention centre and Adelaide Oval.

i thank all staff help..but i thank arron let me breakfast early on sun..and i thank mai help me to call up last min.maybe i book it near future.the food pizza is delicious.the wether is nice n cool.i hope wish to stay more long 10 day but i stay only 5 only at hotel

This feels almost like a boutique hotel after staying in larger places. Everything was clean and well presented on arrival. The bed was very comfortable and its only a 5 to 10 minute walk up to Rundle Mall. There is a bar and a connected restaurant downstairs as well as a rooftop area with lounges and a pool. Even though it's across the road from a couple of night spots we could hear very little of it and didn't keep us awake. Would revisit this place.
