We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The lobby looks nice but otherwise the hotel is dated. Our bathroom plumbing did not work properly as every time you had a shower the water rose up from the drain to the bathroom floor. The bathroom smelled mouldy. The hotel advertises that they have a gym and air conditioning, however you have to pay extra for the gym. Air conditioning was turned off as it was October. The room temperature was so high that I could not sleep. In addition the hotel staff was not at all helpfull, they seemed to be annoyed that they had to do some work. We will not visit again.
Nice location, pool and pool bar, beach just in front of the hotel. Spa and fitness, but did not try it. There is also a small casino available inside the Hotel. Breakfast was ok. You can ask the waiter to make you whatever coffee you want. Dinner Buffet had options for different tastes, but nothing extroordinary. Wine was extra and expensive. Had some difficulty with the door magnetic keys, but the response and solution was very fast, even though it was weekend. Wi-fi available and free in all locations inside the Hotel, but it seems to be a quota of MB you can use per day (I was not informed of that, so at some point I just could not use internet, even though the signal was very good).
The first thing that hits you as you enter reception is the cigarette smoke. Absolutely foul indoor environment. Practically no food options for vegetarians and what little there was had been cooked with animal fat (I was told this by a waiter). All salads -even the Greek salad - had meat in them! There was no willingness at all to help us. I live in Greece and have never had a problem with food before. We were also charged for tap water and bread even when we hadn't ordered it. The bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous occupants and after complaining it still took another day for it to be cleaned. Every shower resulted in a flood through into the bedroom. On the positive side the location was lovely next to the Rio bridge and one of pools was kept clean.
Great hotel, great food and great choice of different meals for breakfast and dinner, clean rooms, changing towels and sheets everyday. Nice pool and beautiful sunset. The management of the hotel should do something with the beach to make it kids friendly cause there are lots of rocks at the begging and after that it is too deep. But there are nice beaches in surroundings: Niforeika, kalogria. Overall: excellent 4 star hotel
I came to this hotel to find out that all the negative about it is true. Old and shabby, with no AC properly working in your room, it is not even near a 4* Rating. Last summer I stayed in a 0,5 guest house and rooms were much more comfortable there. Apparently, the management are too busy trying to squeeze every penny out of this place to take note (not to mention reply) to the negative feedbacks left. So, the AC is not working properly. Pillows are hard as stones -maybe because the hotel inherited them from the date of foundation. Staff is not friendly, with few exceptions though. Hardly anyone takes care to greet you. Wi-Fi is very unstable and is hardly accessible in the annex building. I am now looking for a place to move to - although my room was prepaid, I cannot afford spoiling my whole holiday because of the management's greediness.
The rooms are quite decent and clean with good views .They have 2 swimming pools and there is gym and spa also inside the hotel . Near the sea and they have a great casino as well . The hotel is a bit far from the city but it is peaceful and calm with all facilities
Hotel is huge with two sandy beaches,2 outdoor pools plus one private, nice bungalows and popular casino. But Ionian sea is so cold for me,clean and fresh. There is nothing near hotel and thats big minus. If you walk 30min you will find 1 shop for water,1 caffe,1 restaurant thats a pitty. After dinner,I always like to have a walk, but here is better to stay at hotel.Thats how I put on my weight 4 kg.Food was deliciouse.
The Hotel has a good location next to the novel bridge. The room was great but with an old ineffective air condition apparatus. It was difficult to swim in the sea due to a lot of burning jelly fish. The personell at the SPA were veryunpleasant. If I go to the SPA I would like to feel relaxed but here the people were tense and demanding and arrogant. One had to pay 7€ for the sauna which was not written anywhere and a big guy shouted at me after being in the pool for 1 minute that Children should arrive and I had to go up immediately. Indeed the worst Hotel SPA I have been in, which was indeed outsourced from the Hotel to a special Company.
Where do we begin. My family of 4 have been visiting relatives in Patras for over 10 years and the pool has been our no 1 place to go. The outside area has never been the cleanest but in more recent years it has gained so much neglect that you can't even walk around the pool area without shoes on. There are massive amounts of piled leaves scattered all over the place as if it hasn't had a good sweep since the previous autumn. Also everywhere you look empty glasses are left on tables for hours without notice from any of the staff, doesn't that seem a bit strange? The day before this review write, we visited and my 2 children went up to the bar and each bought an ice cream from the freezer. When we returned we opened to see all the ice cream was melted and warm. However we managed to get an exchange for some cold ice cream though this can't be acceptable in the middle of Summer. I would also like to add is that the hotel charge you €5 p.p. for a swim which is a total ridicule considering the poor quality of an experience they give you. In conclusion I would not recommend this as a place to go when visiting Patras. If you decide I would advise to keep the spending at a minimum as that's just making them undeservingly richer.
We spent 2 nights at this resort. Nice and good value. The employees were very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet, one of the best. Room was clean but poorly maintained. The balcony and outside part of the building in very poor condition. Pool and beach excellent, with good service.
