Orbitz.com has deals on daily flights from Washington, D.C., to Vancouver that can fit any budget or price range you might have. The low prices and vast number of flights ensure that any traveler can afford a dream vacation to Canada.
Flying from Washington, D.C., means that you will leave through the Reagan National Airport or the Dulles International Airport. Dulles offers four parking areas for travelers: valet, economy, hourly, and daily. The Reagan National Airport has two daily lots, one valet lot, and one economy lot. Economy lots at both airports offer shuttle service to the terminals, while the valet parking lots let travelers leave their car with a driver. You can reach either airport by limo, taxi, Metrorail, Metrobus, or shuttle. Riding the MetroBus costs $10, while taxi rides can cost $30 or more, depending on your location.
While Vancouver International Airport is the first thing that you see in the city, it's far from your last. Taxis and buses pick up passengers from the airport, and you can rent a car from one of the on-site agencies like National, Avis, or Hertz.
Summers in Vancouver are quite nice, but winters are fairly harsh with high temperatures in the low 30s. Summertime is an excellent time to visit Vancouver because the city gets more hours of sunshine than it does in winter and temperatures reach as high as 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
While in Vancouver, you might take advantage of some of the amazing attractions, including Stanley Park, Lynn Canyon Park, Sea to Sky Highway, Queen Elizabeth Park, Granville Island, and VanDusen Botanical Park.
