Beware Early Check In!
Charged $25 to check in “early”, Check In Time 3, I got there at 1:30. So is everyone who get there slightly early supposed to stand in the Lobby (there are no chairs) and then all get in line at 3 as the one person manning the desk works us all in. I think the Patels had a meeting and decided this was a good way to generate extra revenue By the way, they don’t discount if you check out the posted check out time, which would be fair based on this policy

Tourist trap / Tourist Beware
Tourist beware. The front desk clerk insisted that I would pay cash for the security deposit. The first room we had tub floor was rusted. The rooms does not look like the pictures!!! We requested a new room. It was in the same condition. We slept with our clothes on and wore sandals to take showers. We left an item in the first room which was taken by the hotel staff. After making an ordeal of the theft, the front desk returned our item just before checkout. It took 30 minutes to checkout. The front desk could not find my cash deposit. When they realized I wasn’t leaving without it they miraculously found it. After debating who would check my room, the front desk received a call. They then informed me that they were keeping my deposit because I was smoking in the room. I thought they were kidding. I argued that I did not smoke in the room and asked why they thought I did. 5 mins later the front desk clerk showed me a picture on her phone. The dirt was so small she had to zoom in for me to see it. I immediately went back to the room where the hotel staff was leaving out. I asked him to show me the ash from the picture. He then began to yell it smells like smoke and would not let me into the room. The front desk clerk threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave the premises.The staff knew I had a cruise appointment I needed to get to so I had to leave. Needless to say they kept the cash and refused to provide me with any paperwork stating such.

Cleanliness was terrible. Carpets in hallway were filthy, needs immediate vacuuming and especially shampooing. Mattress in my room 101, the corner springs were exposed and would rub against your skin. No cups and any type of spoons available in the room. As for breakfast, it was a joke. Very little food for this so called breakfast. For coffee, they had only sugar and Walmart brand creamer. No artificial sweetener. The staff wouldn't even recognize you when they past you. Will never be back. Can't believe La Quinta lets this facility use their name.

The check was very disorganized. the young lady on the desk was talking on the phone, and dealing with a guest issue at the same time. we requested a 2 double beds at the time I made a reservation. When we checked in I asked for a handicap room with a walk-in shower, due to the fact that my traveling companion both have bad knees. when we got to the room it was 1 double bed.my companion, and I do not sleep in the same bed. We had to take the traditional room. After a 3 hour drive I was very ready to take my shoes off. Upon taking my shoes off, and walking to the bathroom my socks were soaking wet, and dirty. The carpet was soaking wet.My companion had to put on her shoes everytime she got up to walk to the bathroom or anywhere else in the room. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
