Nice place on the beach. It’s an older hotel, but the property seems to be kept well. Our room was clean and the staff was nice. You can walk right out to the beach. Main pool looks bigger in the pics and the bathroom was really small, not deal breakers though. Property was quiet enough at night to sleep well, beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

Great retro Florida Resort. Well updated and maintained. Live music from 12:00 noon to 8:30 PM every day adjacent to the pool area and tiki bar. Very friendly and welcoming place. Really enjoyed our stay.

3rd time at Thunderbird for us and unfortunately this time we were disappointed. We checked in and the air conditioning in our suite was not working. Maintenance came and tried to school us on how to use the ac remote but lo and behold he couldn’t get it to work either. He was not friendly at all. Air conditioning filter was absolutely disgusting and could have had something to do with it not working but he didn’t bother checking let alone changing it. We were told we were being “upgraded” to a new room because air conditioning couldn’t be repaired. New room was not a suite (no cooktop, tiny fridge, no separate sleeping area) but apparently because it had a gulf view it was an “upgrade”. View was beautiful. Room was cleaned every day and housekeeping did a fantastic job. Precious and one of the other desk clerks were nice but the woman who checked us out was rude. Overall…disappointed.

Just the right size hotel. Right on beach and pool area very nice and never too crowded. Great little tiki bar with wonderful performers. Would definitely stay here again!

First time at this property and it was more than I expected. Rooms were great. Tiki Bar was fun. Pool open until 11pm. Very good amenities. Beach is beautiful. Hot tub needs a little updating but all and all a great place to stay.
