The property is dated and in need of being updated. The mattress was very hard and not comfortable at all. Also the parking garage is only assessable by walking behind the adjacent casino. The elevator went down while we were there so the only access was via the stairs. The evening reception consisted of popcorn or chips and drinks. Breakfast was okay but never changed and could have had some type of sliced fruit. Also noted that loungers by the pool have broken straps and need to be replaced also.
This place needs a soft remodel. For what we paid, I would expect things to be in a little better condition.
Big puddles of water daily in lobby because of roof leak. Tiny not so clean beach. Pool area was best part.

The service was very slow. We arrived at the hotel around 2pm. Check in was at 4pm which was fine. Our room wasn’t ready into 5:30pm. The staff wasn’t very informative about hotel amenities and what was available in the grounds as far as parking and restaurants. House keeping didn’t come every day and they didn’t supply enough towels per persons staying in the room.

Staff was attentive to needs Breakfast was absolutely wonderful & Delicious. Thank you to Chef Alex for a fantastic job. I think the rooms can use some updating, they are showing wear and tear. Overall had a wonderful stay. Thank you Embassy @ Dorado for making us feel so welcomed.
Nice pool. Nice breakfast. Standard embassy suite room, nothing fancy but suite is convenient for families with young kids.
Not as in good condition as other Embassy Suites. It was okay but just not as kept up as others. More amenities are coming as they say they are restarting the golf course and apparently building a bowling alley. They had a large pool table game room but we never could get in. Casino is right there. So are Pickleball courts but bring your own equipment. San Juan is a reasonable drive. However, the big issue you need to understand is that if you want to do the traditional PR activities (rain forest, bioluminescence tour, catamaran, they are all beyond San Juan. So like a 2 hour drive from the hotel. Doing this everyday was too much.
Its a nice little quiet place tucked within San Juan. Amazing staff and great service. Kudos.

2 days ago---Air conditioner not cooling real good, no soap, front desk not picking up the phone (called four different times), water in pool disgusting, cloudy and cannot even see your feet, spa real dirty and got dirty particles of floating material floating ton top of water, remote to first tv not working, had to change batteries myself, base gym entrance smells of mold, and there is a $14.50 daily charge for parking. Also wanted to add that both GAME ROOM and CASINO were not in working order. Paid for oceanview suite what I got instead was a view of the ceiling on the second floor. One front desk person told me that I could check in early but had to pay $55 dollars and when I should them my military disabled ID I was told to wait to 1:30pm to not pay anything. Then I go to the restroom for like 5 minutes, I come back to front desk and a gentleman asks for my ID, and I showed them the same disabled veteran ID and the gentlemam thanked me for my service and gave me complementary early checkin. My whole family felt discriminated. Worst customer service ever by any hotel I have stayed at before in my entire life. Hotel is overpriced and over rated. Would not recommend.
