I did not stay in the palace, I was roomed in an adjacent building which had slanted roof (I’m 6’3”) a slanted roof stair case (head impact), curtains for division within the room, a single feather pillow and limited space for personal items ... To say Im pissed off is an understatement, however the allowance of at least having breakfast in the palace was exceptional Overall the listing in Orbitz was a sham and should be withdrawn ...
We had a good stay at the Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our favorite parts were the breakfast in the main building and exploring the library and rooms. Would stay here again.
This was a lovely experience on the Suites side. The service at breakfast was excellent. The adjacent grounds & statuary could be maintained a little better, but the view of the lake is OUTSTANDING!
The property is stunning - with the gorgeous grounds, inspiring library, breakfast in the ballroom, and lake in the back. Striking views and we loved the various ways we could walk to town. Service could be better - they didn’t have a corkscrew to help open a bottle of wine!? But we would definitely stay again for this magical setting.
The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in finding us dining options he let us use his umbrella and spoke well.
This place is so incredible. It is really so special. The art is absolutely incredible and the art is everywhere you look. Though we were there in the winter when it was snowing, it was still magical. I can only imagine how beautiful it is when everything is green and lush. If you can it is a true Austrian experience. We will be going back.
