The Hotel Pont Royal is in a great, walkable location for the major museums, the Latin Quarter, and lots of restaurants. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We could not have been happier with our stay.

Excellent location and a very spacious room by Paris standards. Staff and service exemplary. Hefty fee for early check-in, which was unfortunate for an American traveler coming in from a red eye.

Great location! Far enough away from the hordes of tourists that it has a more local feel, yet close enough to get to the main sites when you want to go. Very nice view from the more expensive upper floor rooms. Rooms of modest size, generally nice and very clean but the shower bathtub drains were not working in two separate rooms where we stayed in July 2019. We also found a very dirty cleaning towel under the bed, but the front desk staff were very nice about this and gave us a free bottle of good wine as a gesture of compensation. The Concierge Rudy and one other whose name I don't recall was excellent, with great recommendations for restaurants and tickets to a chamber quartet at Saint Chapel that was really special! Breakfast included with our booking was great for the first 3 days we stayed there, staff always super nice and helpful. But when we returned a few days later after an excursion to Brittany we found that requesting extra items like an omelet now cost 11 euros more and a coca cola 9 euro (these had bee no extra cost earlier in our stay). A little disappointing.

The continental breakfast is pretty pathetic. The staff listens but they don't really solve or take actions; they just apologize. They offered to deliver us a bottle of champagne on our last night. We saw the Eiffel Tower that evening. By the time we got back, there was a voucher for us to walk to the bar that was now closed. We stayed in 3 hotels across Europe. This was just disappointing. Look for something better!

Hotel is nicely situated in a neighborhood that includes many small shops and cafes and away from the commotion of the crowds but still within easy walking distance of most major attractions. Hotel staff is excellent, they take care of everything. Our stay there was like a trip back to the Paris of the 1920s, we would certainly plan on staying again.
Wonderful 5 days at this hotel. Very close to a Metro stop and walking distance to other shops ,restaurants and sites. Very helpful and friendly staff
I was wary of getting a boutique hotel in the center of Paris because I know that the room can be tiny and the bed can be tough. The room was a bit small for two people but not bad but the bed! oh the bed! the most comfortable bed and pillows combination in the world. It was amazing. The only con I could find was it would get hot in the room (despite turning down the thermostat) but we were able to crack a window and also the were no USB outlets, just European outlets. It IS a boutique hotel, however, so I did not expect that. They sold us a converter for 15 euro so it was fine. Lovely staff, gorgeous hotel, amazing view!
As Paris first-timers, the staff was very helpful with any question we had! The room was beautiful and clean with plenty of amenities. Wifi and breakfast were free, and the location was great, a short walk to museums and a long, pleasant walk to the Eiffel. No complaints here!
I stayed at hotel Pont Royal for five nights and everything went well. They're located in St Germain De Pres, a very good neighborhood just a few blocks from the metro. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was adequate with different food choices and fresh fruits. The room was nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will most likely return next time I m in Paris.
My room was comfortable and charming. The hotel is ideally located to local restaurants and shopping. Despite facing the street my room was very quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
The hotel was comfortable with attentive and helpful staff and in the best location. Within a fun, active neighborhood and many wonderful local restaurants and cafes, the hotel is only a block from the Orsay and 2 blocks from the Louvre. Most major sites were within walking distance, plus tons to do as far as restaurants and shops. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on future visits to Paris.
So the bathroom (toilet) floor was dirty with dried up spots on in - pretty gross. I asked the hotel staff to clean it, but I think the person cleaning just did their regular routine - vaccum but not wash. In the end I didn't want to make a fuss, so just threw a bath towel on the floor there and dealt with it. The other SUPER DISAPPOINTING thing was the cigarette smoke!! I don't know if they have smoking rooms in the hotel or if guests just smoke anyway, but the hallway smelled super smoky and it even got into our room. Then again, people in France smoke a lot more so maybe it's not such an issue to them. The staff were super nice, helpful and friendly.
