Very small room, though nice bathroom. Building under construction with scaffolding outside window (as of April 2024)-- got notice from hotel to that effect day after check-in. Area near hotel is safe and convenient to tourist attractions but rather dull-- much better to stay in Marais.
Great hotel…need to explain how ac works
I paid $130 a day, which is an outstanding price for a clean room with friendly staff, at a location close to many Paris tourist sites. The only reason that I would not give it a 5/5 is that the AC would only allow heating and not cooling. This was generally not an issue since we could open the windows, but it would be nice to have cold air without enduring the sounds of the city at night.
