This is a charming hotel that is quite convenient to everything. The staff were warm and friendly, the room was spacious (for Paris) and the little touches, like afternoon wine and morning coffee, made it a wonderful experience.

Always pleasant. While the rooms are small, they are more than enough for a stay in a city that you’ll be in more than in the room itself.

Hotel was nice and well situated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were hard but serviceable. All in all a very nice stay!

HOTEL STAFF IS NICE. LOCATION IS OK. LOCATION IS NOT CLOSE TO MOST PLACE. GOOD STAY

I highly recommend, location is perfect if you like the St. Germain area.

This was our first trip to Paris and France for nine people including my parents. This hotel that was built in 1856 is a small, quaint hotel that gives you a Parisian experience. Most of the other guests were from the U.S. The staff was very friends my. We stayed for 6 nights.

Good location, good value, smaller hotel, but nice. I would recommend to a friend.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for a quick stay in Paris. Terrific location, friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small, but are clean and comfortable.

close to the more popular metros. as you walk out of the hotel, you can already see the Eiffel tower. there's a cute little vietnamese restaurant right next to the hotel that has great food. staff was extremely polite and helpful. would definitely stay here again!

Close to various metro stations, hotel staff very nice, very clean room and big bathroom! Couldn't ask for anything better in Europe.

Hotel Aviatic was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were small but very clean and stylish. The hotel was somewhat hard to find because the address doesn't need the Rue de Rennes street mentioned. Location was great for the Open bus tour route (which is highly recommended) but too far from the attractions to walk.

Rooms were perfectly clean and tastefully decorated - a bit small by US standards, but that is normal in Paris. I was in room 247 - fourth floor, and loved it. No issue with street noise, although in all rooms you can occasionally feel the rumble of the Metro trains - not enough to be bothersome. There was a safe in the room, and my ultralight laptop fit right in it, which was nice. My friend was in the one-bedroom apartment and that was also very nice. Location is close to Metro St. Placide, Falguiere, Pasteur, and of course Montparnasse, and taxis are abundant at each corner. The best thing about my stay was the staff. They were all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Fanny and Baptiste (sp?) were especially willing to jump in and help our struggling French, and everyone spoke some English. They were uniformly professional, warm and welcoming.

The location of this hotel makes for easy access to the major attractions. It’s officially in the 6th but positioned for easy walking access to the 5th, 7th and the 14th districts. The Montparnasse and St Placide metro stations are only a couple of blocks away but we strolled to most places. The service was stellar and is what makes this hotel stand out for us! They are always ready to help with reservations or recommendations and made our airport transportation easy and reasonable! The room was laid out well and kept very clean, and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and fresh. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great vacation, staff at the hotel really friendly and helpful. Location is great close to all the important sites, we walk to all of them. I would go back to the same hotel next visit to Paris.

The location is superb. Around the corner from the hotel is the Montparnasse-Bienvenue metro station, which serves six of the 14 metro lines, which makes for easy access to greater Paris. Even better, for those preferring to walk through the streets of Paris, the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Jardins du Luxembourg, and a 20-30 minute walk (straight) from the Quartier Latin, Sorbonne district, St Germaine de pres, and St. Michel. The immediate vicinity of Montparnasse has cinemas, restaurants, cafes and more for those days when you don't want to stray too far away. The six cinemas near the hotel are particularly great when you need to balance Paris' other cultural treasures. Staff is friendly, helpful and multilingual. They're happy to give suggestions and are quite knowledgeable. If there was a drawback, the standard room is small even by European standards. Still, the rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and have comfortable beds. Besides, one does not spend too much time in their room when in Paris.

The location is the first positive to mention. Just around the corner from the Montparnasse-Bienvenue metro station, you can get to all of the sights of Paris easily, or go by foot if you prefer: aside from the 15 min walk to Jardins du Luxembourg, the Latin Quarter, St. Germaine des Pres and St Michel are easy half hour walks away as well (more if you take time to enjoy the shops cafes and restaurants along the way). Speaking of restaurants and such, there are plenty in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I recommend walking up Rue Odessa (near the Tour Montparnasse) to get away from the crowds. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, bilingual (at minimum) and happy to make recommendations. Also very helpful in arranging transportation to/from the airport. Finally, in case you decide you need a movie break to supplement the cultural treasures of Paris, the Hotel is two blocks from no less than six cinemas. If there was a drawback, it was the smallness of the standard rooms. But hey, one does not spend too much time in one's room while in Paris, and the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated.

It was great place to stay. i will recomend for friends to stay there

Other Paris hotels I've used before have provided a room that was not much more than a bed and a bathroom: i.e., a space where you don't want to spend any more time than is absolutely necessary,. The Aviatic was much, much nicer than that. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I spent 8 nights here and was very happy indeed.

Excellent hotel in a nice location on the left bank in Paris.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking time to write this review. We have different kind of mattresses in all our rooms to please the different guests preferences regarding beddings. We were wondering if you informed the reception desk during your stay about your preferences. Our team use to be very reactive in this kind of situation unless we give them the opportunity to be so. The entire Louison Hotel team look forward to welcoming you back. Warm regards from all of us
