Generally old, tired furnishings and unfinished decorations, e.g toilet door not painted , shower door handle missing. Worst of all though was the water was just a luke warm trickle for a shower.

Walls paper thin, elevator broken (on a permanent basis) only stayed here for convenience to friends and within a 10 minute walk of the Metro station to get us to the train staion 1 stop away. A pretty sad, cheap hotel . : (

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !
En-suite room next to reception, walls paper thin, every night (5 in total) we were disturbed by front desk noise someone rattling around in the office banging doors & talking to 'India' for a long time.. Our 3rd night the front desk girl had 'visitors' for over 3 hours. No phone in room to ask them to move outside to talk and we certainly weren't going to go out and ask young guys to 'move-on'). They did move on to smoke outside of our room a few times though.tOLD FRONT DESK NEXT AM. Glass shelf in bathroom at a steep angle and of no use and possibly an accident risk. Shower off tracks 1st day so couldn't shower. No room between beds to open the window, you had to shuffle sideways. Someone had vomited in the room the night before, cleaners had been in and the carpet was soaking ... no fan or door open to help air flow. Smokers hanging outside of our room, didn't want to shower with people outside of a long vertical window. Couldn't shower 1st morning, heavy glass door off tracks, reported it at 7am still wasn't fixed by late afternoon. Couldn't switch rooms 1st stay as there were no vacancies, & on 2nd stay Elevator/ Lift doesn't work at all and we can't carry luggage up 2 or 3 floors to another room with a shower. (Their listing says 'Elevator' ...that's what I look for.. Surely some small engineering co. can fabricate a part ???). They said it CANNOT be fixed WOW ! All staff were always pleasnt but offered NO REFUND at all for 5 nights of annoyance and disurbed sleep.

Good for Groups, quick and easy check-in and only a short ride into town. Bathrooms are ready for a refurb, but still good value.

Noise, stains & cold showers.
Nice greeting from staff, showed us to our room. We stayed within room 8 which seemed to be the old night entrance reception converted into a room. We noticed this as the dado was still on the wall from where the counter would of been and the push to exit button remaining on the wall, this was not very decorated and should of been removed. The night entrance is no longer in use however the sign is up covered by a fire exit sign, we experienced a drunk man shouting through our window asking to be let in at 1 am, this was frightening considering how easy it is to climb into the open window as we had it open due to the room being unpleasantly warm. For our stay we couldn't get hot water within the shower, we are not sure why? The walls are deadly thin and we could hear the guests staying within the adjacent room as well as people walking above us, this was quite an inconvenience as people we coming in within the early hours of the morning and kept us awake. The mattress was very hard to sleep on which combined with the excessive heat within the room made sleeping hard. one of the cabinets within the room did not have any shelves nor did they have any hangers so we had to compensate by hanging our clothes on the curtain rail to stop them from creasing. Final thoughts cheap hotel if you just want somewhere to stay on a night out. But any longer its uncomfortable. Staff were nice but it seems like the hotel attracts certain types of people that could ruin your stay.
