Easy check in, friendly staff, good location.

Pros First off it was an excellent location, 20 seconds from fantastic restaurants and bars not far from the city centre on top of the quayside. The room we eventually were given was very clean with good décor. Cons Upon arrival we were a little early and were informed that they could put us in a room until the official checking in time for a tenner!!!! We were informed that TV and internet had to be paid for separately per day, so it cost me £10 to have the TV on for 2 days which ive never heard of before in my life. Safe to say we didn’t get the Wi-Fi. Once we checked in which took a while as they wanted a conformation email from me (this took me ages to find on my phone) we were given a key card and found our room. I walked in first and my wife instantly thought I had farted as the room smelt so bad. The room was tiny and the TV was on a side wall where we could not even see it from the bed! I asked the reception to come and have a look and a smell of the room and we were changed with no problems. Other things with the room were no soap in a tiny shower cubicle, no coffee making facilities in room (there was a machine down stairs but it was out of order and would have probably cost if it did work). Last thing there was no draws in the room to put stuff. Would I stay there again, nope I would got to the Vermont which was an extra £10 per night.
