Me and my family was here last week! We flew in from Illinois… hotel offered transportation that was a plus. We got in late and at check in we were giving amazing warm cookies! My family enjoyed the room pool and restaurant. Thank you Double Tree we will be back.

Very bad checkin experience.

hotel was alright but there was a problem (Orbitz booking didn't go to the hotel somehow?) and hotel was not motivated to solve it... luckily Orbitz staff were available at the late hour (10pm) to solve it, but it took over an hour and my kids were exhausted from a long day of travel and literally fell asleep on the lobby couch while I was waiting on hold to talk to support. will be reluctant to book anything through orbitz again

Convenient transportation access. Free transport to and from airport. Very clean rooms and hallways. Courteous staff.

I stayed on the weekend of 9/9. This is the most terrible experince i have ever had. The room is dirty and tub sink is so rusty that my son refused to take a shower. The worst is the staff's service. The hair blower in the bathroom is missing so I called the front desk. The lady on the night shaft of 9/10 answered that she will place an order for that, but it never arrived and no response from then until 1am in the morning. I called the lady agaia. She just said the rooms are all booked and she can not take hair blower from another room. I was so surprised that they do not have any spare one for customers. As I further asked her to check again with someone else, she just hang up on me and never called back. I am pretty sure that the true reason is nobody on duty wanted to make a delivery at late night, because the blower arrived on 6:30 in the morning. I would also advise you not taking any rooms nearby the pool. The pool is supposed to be closed at 10pm, but people and kids were kept talking and shouting until 11:40pm and no staff came and checked even after you called them.

While checking in i was advised that there was. $75 incidental charge. I was informed that it was posted on their website. When i asked to see it they could not show me. Then they said it was in the policy. I asked to see it. They could not provide no information written stating this. I was not happy with this and if this is what they are doing they should have some written documentation.

Property is dated. One staff in the bistro is very rude when I had to ask her to repeat what she said since she spoke so low and I needed to clarify if they are open. I also ask front desk to ask housekeeping for the clothes i left in the closet. Front desk told me someone from housekeeping will call me back bit no one did and none in the front desk know who to contact to address my concern.

The staff are the best part of staying here. They went above and beyond with several small items to make my stay outstanding from giving a free bottle of water to making sure I could quickly check in to make my event on time.

Clean, efficient. Great access to Newark airport.

I didn’t like how they are not very accommodating to their guest needs. Even when an error was made with booking the reservation.

Stayed there for 4 days. Not even 1 day my room was ever cleaned. On the last day before heading out i went to the front desk n requested to have my room cleaned. When I got back that night they didnt even cleaned our room all they did was gave us towels and took out my trash which was in our room for 3 days.Didn’t even restock our toiletries. Unbelievable. Never again will we stay at this hotel and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
