The booking photos of this place are a bit deceptive and do not display that what you are actually booking is simply a motel. It is quite outdated; granted, they are far enough outside of Memphis that it likely wouldn’t be worth the return or hassle of going through a major overhaul. I had to get a new room immediately after checking in because my first one reeked of marijuana. The lady at the service counter was very polite about swapping the room out, but she did not at all seem surprised about the room smelling like weed. Given that the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking, well… draw your own conclusions.
My next room was sub-par, but passable for the night. The toilet paper dispenser box was about to fall off the wall any time you attempted to get paper off the roll, the shower head whistled the entire time I showered, there were cigarette holes burned into the couch (again, in a non-smoking room - go figure), and there were the ripe beginnings of black mold in the shower ceiling. Lost out on the cost of my second night because I refused to stay another night so I checked out early and hadn’t paid for trip coverage. Win some, lose some. Wasn’t worth my sanity or health.
