First, upon check in the staff was rude and confrontational when I asked about receiving a package. Second, when I entered the hotel room, I noticed that I did not receive a pillow case on my bed. Third, during day three, the cleaning staff did not refill my toilet paper in the room. These are better hotels in the area than this one. If you are looking to stay for one night then you can roll the dice otherwise avoid this place.
The staff said they would do or get what we asked for but never followed through, such as heat, face cloths, except for one woman and she was corteous and followed through on what l asked for. The men agreed with us but never followed through on things except getting us a taxi. Some days we had heat and somedays they turned the power off in our room which included heat.
Close to underground, shops and restaurants. Clean and quiet. Good breakfast buffet
Staff was outstanding during our stay. Very welcoming. The first night we were in the wrong room (smaller than we paid for). They were very accommodating and moved us to a very nice large room. Breakfast had a nice selection. Location is a great central London hotel. We would stay again.

Being 4 blocks from Paddington Station and Hyde Park allowed it to be very walkable without being noisy at night time. We enjoyed the English Breakfast they serve in the morning.

Nice and cozy. Staff is friendly. Convenient location and safe neighbourhood. Amenities were okay, but there was US outlet in my room but it wasn’t working, I had to buy a converter.

The good part only was that it was semi convenient, and the bellboy helped us very graciously to drag heavy suitcases, up and down and around to room. This place is old and never has been updated, not to our thinking, it needs so much more, the people at front desk were not friendly and frankly had trouble with english speakers... the room was super tiny, but at least it had microwave and fridge, I give them credit for that, and hot water deal to make our own coffee. The bathroom was not big, but had decent amenities. I think this should cost way less since its super tiny and only slightly convenient to things, you have to walk, but if it was raining, and it was, we were soggy wet from a short walk to obtain a meal. Anyhow, its just like several others that are along here. I would probably never go back.
