Room was ok but had a smell once we got off elevator and in room breakfast was old like bread fell apart eggs was nasty couldn’t eat that it was old. It was one of those live in hotels. Don’t plan on staying there again. 3/7-8/24

Excellent location and value. Located just off exit 33 of Route 4 with easy access to downtown Lakeland, the ballpark, and shopping/ dining options. Easy to overlook the worn hallway carpets when the simple breakfast buffet was good and our king mattress was perfect, not too soft and just firm enough for a good night’s sleep. Our room had lots of counter space by the bathroom sink and plenty of space for luggage atop the large bureau. Unlike many new chain hotels, La Quinta’s efficient HVAC unit was quiet and did not blow hot or cool air directly over the bed. The door to the toilet and tub/shower room faced away from the bedroom so as not to disturb anyone asleep. Friendly staff and good unlimited coffee by the front desk. We loved our 3 night visit to Lakeland and will definitely stay at this La Quinta again.
