There are a lot of cheep hotels in the area. We chose to pay a little more for a nicer place. The facilities seemed well kept and clean and the staff was very nice at check in. BUT... I was awakened at 4 am by a rodent behind the couch chewing away on a takeout container from our dinner that night. We left the lights on after that and saw several bugs (looked like roaches to me) on the walls and floor. One even ran accross the arm of the desk chair I was sitting in! Yuck! I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I don't usually complain but when we checked out, I let them know and I received what I thought was a less than sincere "Oh, no, we will have someone look into that as soon as the maintenance staff comes in at 8:30" and "Your receipt will be emailed to you". I don't think it was the first time they had heard these complaints, and I am fairly confident they didn't intend to do anything about it. A very disappointing experience.
