Thermostat didn’t work. Absolutely freezing in the room. Restaurant staff was incredibly slow. Had to go to the bar to ask for a menu. Had to go back to the bar to order a drink. Had to go back to the bar to request my tab which I got 20 minutes later. I prepaid for breakfast but breakfast was actually included in the stay so I paid extra for no reason. I tried to bring these things to the attention of the woman at the front desk who had no interest in anything I had to say. She very quickly dismissed me. When I asked at check in if it was possible to get two beds in our room she replied “yeah” but got to the room which only had one bed. No hotel is perfect and I typically just let it go. But if it really is bad I prefer to tell someone in person rather than write it in a review. But to be dismissed with such rudeness justifies a negative review. There are a lot of hotels in town. Don’t bother with this one.

2nd time staying at this hotel this time staying longer. The staff are so friendly and always on hand to help. The rooms are so spacious and the beds are the comfiest beds ever. In a good location that’s easy to get to most places. Cant wait to get back

We were here for 4 nights, so few hooks to hang up coats and some drawers would be great, there is a small wardrobe but was full when we hung up our winter coats. So all other clothes for the 3 of us had to stay in the case. Had room cleaned once on the 3rd day, could have really been done with having the bins emptied and tea replenished on the 2nd day, didn’t need bed and towels changed at all. Had to ask for an extra blanket as the 2nd bed had a thinner duvet and the heating too noisy to be kept on over night. Lovely room and staff, just a couple of tweaks to make it even better. There was some renovations going on int the lobby but no disruption to guests.
