Admittedly, the staff was stressed that night because the weather was bad, and there were many like us in unexpected need of lodging because of missed airline connections. Nevertheless, the staff certainly did not rise to the occasion. We had to call many times to arrange a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. On most of these calls, the front desk simply let the phone ring and ring without picking up. Other times we were transferred (to the shuttle driver??) but no one answered. For the following morning, there were no available places on the shuttles. Clearly, this hotel needs more staff and more professional staff. Otherwise, the room was OK but overall the hotel was "moderately dingy."

The property itself is in good shape, the front desk people are wonderful and hard working and kind and both drivers I encountered are as well. My room was spotless. It is tucked in a bit from the main street so I found it to be quiet.

the lady working the desk when we first arrived was not as helpful as she could of been. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. About what I have no idea. But the gentleman that worked the midnight shift and drove us to the the airport was exceptional. A true asset to your workforce.

Smoke filled hotel
The entire hotel smelled like smoke, despite the warnings not to smoke inside. The room was even worse smelling! Had to ask for different towels cause the ones we had were stained and smelled terrible. Now all our clothes smell like this dingy place. There are plenty of other hotels around BWI, do yourself a favor and pick another one!
