CitizenM will now be one of my preferred accommodations where available. It's chic, and boutique-like. It offers great amenities and its facilities are well used - it makes it feel alive. The rooms are small, but they feature precisely all of the things one requires. The mobile app makes managing my stay easy. Need to add breakfast? Done. Need to arrange for a late check in? Done. Need to change the climate control or setup TV casting? Done. Mood lighting? Done. See my charges and even check out? Done. Fantastic experience. Despite the FAQs featuring a link to parking, I do wish they partnered more directly so that I could get an idea of just how far/convenient parking options are. I ended up parking at Indeed Tower. Empty every evening, imagined if the hotel partnered with them for a discount?

Cons: No parking conveniently attached to the hotel. Which is fine I suppose but if you’re lugging around luggages. However, it makes it hard when the hotel doesn't even have luggage rolling carts to help. You're going to have to figure out how to maneuver around the parking garages nearby while lugging your luggages. Lights, air, media - all iPad activated/controlled (which means if you’re an android user and not familiar with the iOS interface - sucks for you) which is a little annoying especially when you want to take an evening shower and just need to turn on the bathroom lights without waking up your partner. The controls available for some specific functions you need have not been fully built in the apps. I honestly just need a switch for the light in the bathroom! Not ideal for couples wanting to spend a long week stay in the hotel. Really tight space. First time in this hotel type of concept. Used to staying in this type of hotel in Asia & EU but not US. Hotel is good for road warriors, short term stays but not good if you have kids. Nothing wrong with the hotel really just not the kind we like to stay we thought we’d experience. PROS: Self service check in/out with minimal assistance to staff was nice. Clean and budget friendly. No plans on staying here again
