The Starlux was much fun. Retro. Clean. Near everything you’d want. The beds were comfy, and the staff members were very helpful. My only note is that the walls are thin and the first night I had some next door neighbors that got there at 2:30 and were up talking till 6. Was almost like they were in my room lol. So if you’re a light sleeper, just be aware. Overall would totally go back again.

Cute Boutique it is! Though I stayed off season, I was there for a weekend for an art conference. Hotel is perfectly and conveniently situated short walking distance away. The actual hotel, was super cozy, rooms were spacious, all you need for a comfortable on a budget stay. Would love to come back when its not winter and summer is happening.

We stayed at this property in January, 2024, on our way to Florida and before taking the Cape May / Lewes ferry. The room was clean. However, the room was cold because the door, which opened to the outdoors, did not have weather stripping along the bottom of the door. the gap was at least 1/2 inch. The room should not have been rented to us. Also, the room was too small for the amount & size of furniture. Probably a great room & location in the warmer months.

We stayed during rhe off-season so there wasnt much going on in the area. But from what i was able to see, its a really nice area and well maintained hotel. Staff are super nice and the room was very comfortable. The only problem was noise; a room on another floor was having a party past quiet hours that was a little annoying, but not enough to notify hotel staff

Even though this is a off season for a beach community, the room and staff was as if it was high season! Would highly recommend this for your Wildwood stay.

not great in the off season
This might be an excellent hotel in the summer but it is not staffed at night in the off season. I was kept up till 1 am by a very loud party. I went down to complain but office closed and no phone to office in room. When I left in the morning at 730 there was no one in the office and no breakfast.

I'm surprised they allowed us to stay here. We were the only guests and we discovered they were doing construction at the hotel. We were woken up at 7am with jackhammers and pounding. We left early and when we came out of the room there was concrete debris everywhere. We had to walk through the flying dust to leave.
