I have been staying at this hotel several times per year for several years now, and unfortunately the standard of service has been steadily declining. Cleanliness of the facility has deteriorated, which is particularly evident in the hallway carpeting, which seems to be vacuumed infrequently and haphazardly. Room maintenance is also shaky - during my most recent stay, the silver backing was peeling off of the bathroom mirror, and none of the electrical sockets on the lamps on either side of the bed would hold a plug in order to charge an electronic device; during my previous stay several pieces of furniture had obvious damage that could easily have been repaired. The bathroom floor was actually sticky - ick.
The breakfast service used to be excellent (and made to order omelets and pancakes are still available), but during my most recent visit there was no fruit, yogurt or juice set out. We were told by staff that this was a management decision and not an oversight.
The location is excellent for my needs, with a Red Line Metro station accessible from within the building, and two electric car charging stations in the garage. However, if the above issues are not addressed I will be looking for other options in the future.
