"Beautiful hotel with two restaurants. Our room had a pretty view of the river. Toledo is close to Lake Erie and some great places for birding. The valet parking worked really well. I was surprised that the parking was a separate charge. The area is beautiful but deserted. Not much within walking distance. "

"Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located in downtown next to the ballpark and in the middle of the vibrant downtown scene. Plenty of options for food/drink/entertainment! A must stay place!"

"Excellent hotel, friendly staff & immaculate room. Love the large bathroom with the long vanity top for organizing toiletries while traveling. Breakfast buffet had many options: omelets, waffles, biscuits & gravy, along with cold cereals, oatmeal, breads, bagels & muffins - while not a gourmet breakfast (which we didn’t expect) it had lots of choices for a quick bite before getting back on the road.We didn’t use the pool or hot tub so can’t really comment on that, except that the desk clerk told us that they offer an “adults only” pool time from 10pm-midnight, which we thought would be very relaxing! (If only we’d brought our swimsuits with us!) Conveniently located near both I-80 & I-75, yet no highway noise & was quiet & restful. Room heat/AC unit was also nice & QUIET - didn’t cycle on and off all night! Overall a perfect place to stop for the night - we will return on our next trip east!"
