First off, I do not like to make complaints and give the benefit of the doubt on majority of situations.
This though, is ridiculous.
We were 30 mins to an hour out of Savannah at 9:30/10 @ night, we were getting tired and looked for a place to stop. This came up as an option, we only needed a place to sleep before hitting the road again didn't need anything fancy. Once we got to the location though my husband did not feel safe for our family to stay here, for multiple factors. I went in to ask about a refund and was told sure but you booked on Expedia so you have to go through them to get your money back. I tried on the phone to get a hold of someone @ Expedia that late at night with no luck, so we proceeded to another hotel for the night. Once up and on the road the next day I tried again, Expedia stated they would help and request the refund from the location. Unfortunately I just got the e-mail that this location will not refund my money. This is a joke, I made the reservation with in an hour of getting onsite not thinking it would be an issue, got there stated my concern, didn't even use their facility, I guess they don't care about people and their right to feel safe just want their money.
