Close to river and great view ; walkable to river street.
Loved the river views and how convenient it was to local attractions.
$40 per night for parking is unreasonable.
I stayed here 30 years ago, this hotel has gone down the drown. $200 a night for an okay bed and room, property is run down, staff is unhelpful, don't wash sheets or provide towels, no indoor heated pool or hot tub anymore, drunks and homeless right outside the hotel, $30 for breakfast no free breakfast, parking is $40 a day, coffee is not out in the lobby but far away, terrible service and stay...
Shower was clogged, later fixed but never cleaned afterwards as promised. No minibar, microwave or even complimentary water. Tried to get a drink at the bar and wasn’t even acknowledged after two employees looked right at me. They also charged 40 a day for parking.
Great service. This hotel is our favorite in Savannah.
Wonderful location. General Manager to housing staff were exceptional. Would recommend and come back to The Marriott River Street.!
Nice modern property with a very good staff. Nice facilities, bar, gym and swimming pool. Only negative was that our bedroom shared a balcony with another room which made us feel uncomfortable to us it. Felt unsafe. They used a locking bar to secure the sliding glass door. Also, the noise from the people next door was easily heard. Walls seemed thin.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Location was best part.
Very accommodating
The hotel is in a great location and is in walking distance to many tourist attractions.
Only booked the hotel to sleep while driving from West Virginia to Florida. Toilet had a rusty bolt and rain stains in the bowel. Outrageous $20 00 price for breakfast. Three peesons cost was $74.00. which did not include the $3.00 price for a cup of coffee. Marriott can do better than this.
Very nice place!
We loved everything about our trip and plan to return, staying at this hotel again.
