Upon arrival, trash in the parking lot. The toilet seat was so low to the ground, the handle of the toilet was broken, the pillows cover was dirty, the carpets and furniture needs to be replace. The continental breakfast was a joke.

The air and heat unit in each room is set and controlled by La Quinta Inn even though there is a control box in each room, I called the front desk and was told “the air outside controls the thermostat”. The receptionist came to the room after I called her and looked at the control box she tried doing exactly same things we did to get heat in our room then said it was nothing no one could fix, it was 65 degrees in the room the temperature started falling was a cold night outside and cold and miserable in the room, I asked to try another room was told they could not do that. Thank God I always have extra blankets in my vehicle. We slept in extra clothes and my blankets to make it through the night. I would have went back home but I live out off town and had an early morning Doctors appointment. Don’t stay at this property, not an updated property!! Read between the lines——

easy access- on main road clean, rooms in good shape had smaller table that rolled under main table- was at a good height. bad- no accessible outlet at bedside (for clock or phone)

It was better than camping.
The air conditioner did not work so we were terribly uncomfortable, temperature wise. Also the WiFi would not work, the TV remote would only work after hitting the same button about 50 times. Also, I tried to book a second room there because extra family members came on the trip. The prices were WAY above what you would pay if you booked online, so definitely do all booking online!

This was absolutely the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The floors in the lobby common areas and elevator looked like no one mops or vacuums. The same was true for the room we stayed in. Floors were filthy…tub was filthy…sink was very slow to drain. Volume on TV did not work. Ironing board was broken. Iron had crusty material on it. Gel filth on the wall and in bureau drawer. Street noise and people outside our window made sleeping difficult. Reported to housekeeping and front desk and NOTHING was remedied. The staff seemed to barely understand English!! 2 nights of pure hell!! Do not use this hotel!! Also the continental breakfast was subpar also
