We stayed there for a small family reunion. Everything was great until the very last day. The place was well-maintained, the food was good, the stuff was friendly. On the day before checkout we requested late checkout and were told it's OK to checkout at 1PM and stay for another hour to have lunch while we are waiting for our ride to the airport. However when we were checking out a little bit before 1PM, we were told they have to cut our bracelets, and if we want to have any food or drinks we have to pay about $45 USD per room (4 rooms total.) They denied they told us otherwise last night. Perhaps they wanted some kind of a bribe... I don't know. All I can tell they completely spoiled our positive impression of Fiesta Americana, and I doubt we ever coming back there. There are lots of other resorts where people are treated with respect.

This was an outstanding experience and i would highly recommend this resort for families. The staff made out stay truly special and catered to all our requirements. The resort has many facilities, an excellent vibe and the service is beyond amazing. Special shout out to Amel (manager), Antonio and Ivan in the pool area, Rosalio and Emmanuel in the breakfast area and Monsiuer the kids organiser. The food choices were great, the pool area so well designed and clean, proximity to the beach, variety of activities and most of all , the helpfulness of staff!!! would love to return!!!
