Don’t go to this place if you are a beach person, because there is very minimal beach to be. The resort itself is nice and quaint. There is one main pool. A small pool up by the sushi restaurant on 3rd level. The staff is wonderful at this resort. We had water coming through our bathroom ceilings, and they acted very quickly to fix the issue. The only complaint I have is we have booked at other adults only resorts in the past and we pay a premium cost for it, but this resort wanted an extra 89$ per person, per day if you ask for any premium alcohol. I wish we would have known this up front. We didn’t purchase it, and we still had a good time.

Nobody ever available to make reservations for dinner or spa. The resort lost power a couple times. Apparently it happens often. Front desk never followed up on something for me. Poor communication. Food was limited and not very good. No chairs available at the pool. I would not recommend this resort.

Loved the staff they were great! Had cold showers unless you ran water for about 10 min before shower. The balcony is tiny…just enough room for two chairs and small table for coffee. The room itself is laid out ok except for the step coming from bathroom to rest of room…not a fan if u get up at night! There is no dresser so finding a place for your fresh clothes rather than trying to balance everything in your suitcase is an issue. They have longer desk under tv we used that and the shelf at end of bed to sit on also has a shelf under you can use. The closet has 4 small shelves which worked for personal things you don’t want to leave out. There was some road noise such as police and people’s radios in the car or honking on road. People park next to hotel to walk down to public beach so it's busy. The swim up bar is in the small pool on top floor so was useless to us as we wanted to be around actual people. They had maybe 6 chairs there that you could use otherwise they appear to be with each room. The large pool, if u want a chair you need to be out there by 8 am to reserve the chairs or you won’t get one as they have cabanas around entire pool that are upsold for $89 per day which we did one day as an inclusion to a Mexican meal by the show one night so we paid $70 per person and had lobster/filet mignon dinner with seats by the Mexican show that night. Hotel has potential but not sure its worth 4-5 stars aside from staff they were a 5/5 for sure!
