This resort has everything you could ask for! Four of us went on a girls' trip here, looking for some relaxation, and it totally delivered. The pools were awesome, the beach was stunning, and the food was delicious – not to mention the staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn't even feel the need to leave the resort with all the activities they had going on. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised by the daily housekeeping. Sure, snagging a table at the restaurants was a bit tricky, but we managed to get in, and the buffets were pretty good too. Even though we didn't bring our kids, we could tell it's a great spot for families with lots for the little ones to do. We tried out everything – jet skiing, kayaking, yoga, water aerobics – and had a blast. And the pool bar – seriously, the food there was top-notch. So much variety and everything was made fresh to order. We'd definitely come back here without a second thought.

Good location close to Playa del Carmen 5ta Avenida…room was clean and the pools were big with plenty of space for little kids to play. Food was ok but we only stayed one night so not sure if we missed better options on the following days.

We had a great time at the Royal Haciendas. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The resort is very big with many pools to choose. The beach area is nice too. All the staff was very attentive and treated us very well. The food was good, but there wasn’t much variety. I was hoping to have more Mexican cuisine options, but this resort is visited by mostly Americans and Canadians, so they serve Americanized food. The resort is kept in perfect condition. The gardens are well manicured and the facilities are maintained perfectly. I hope we can be back soon.

The staff could not have been more friendly and responded to all our requests quickly and efficiently. The resort is meticulously maintained. The food at the 2 à la carte restaurants in the main building (Los Murales and Kinoko) was beautifully presented and delicious.

The service was fantastic. The rooms were wonderful. The grounds are big enough that there is always somewhere else to go but easily walkable. Tennis courts were great. Game room was a hit with the kids. All in all, a perfect family vacation spot.
