I enjoyed my 1 day stay but I waited 1 & 1/2 for shuttle to come after I called the hotel. Otherwise the bedroom, staff were very nice, wish I could take the bed home with me

The property was good. The breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, instant oatmeal, bagels, muffins, apples, coffee. The owner is really nice and so was most of his staff. However, while we were in the lobby, listening to a sermon, a front desk person harassed us about the volume because according to him "we couldn't practice our religion," & it might offend others, but there was no one else in the lobby and when other guests did make it to the lobby they didn't mind at all because it wasn't loud enough to cause anyone to complain about it. In an effort to drown out what we were listening to, the man at the front desk blasted the volume of the TV in the lobby. This ruined what could have been an overall 5 star stay.

I've stayed here a couple of times on trips to Pittsburgh. The van service to and from the airport is very convenient, and there are good restaurants within walking distance, which is unusual for an airport hotel. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. You can take the 28X express bus to downtown and the college district. The place is well kept and is a good value.

In line with the recent home scent craze, they pump strong “scent” into rooms. Aaaaalllll day and night. Front desk denied it, suggesting that it was someone’s perfume outside than was making it into the air system. Really? Made me wish I had brought my inhaler. I don’t care what they pump into the lobby. But keep it out of the rooms. People can be allergic. When I got home, everything in my suitcase smelled like it for two days (so far). Also, no fridge in my room. Front desk said “it depends on the room you get.” Really? I have never stayed in a hotel without a fridge. Doesn’t have to be a full-fledged bar, but just something to store leftovers in would be nice. Airport shuttle was supposed to be twice/hour. Ours was 15 mins late. People are planning their ride to catch flights, so that’s not good. Little nit here, but no small bottle of water provided in the room. That seemed a little stingy. Even a $70/night hotel I stayed in the previous night had a fridge and a small bottle of water. (And no scent.)
