We stayed there for two nights and the hotel was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the pool, etc. We did eat breakfast both mornings. The breakfast was simple but good. Our downside was the pillows. The pillows in our room were small, hard, and very uncomfortable. My wife and I both had a difficult time sleeping because the pillows were uncomfortable. The hotel should explore changing the pillows and even the mattresses to something a lot more comfortable! There was some traffic noise from I-17 which, we might not have otherwise been bothered by if the pillows were more comfortable.

Not great
Not as good as the reviews. Room was not properly cleaned before check-in. Had to ask woman at front desk to vacuum the room because there were food crumbs all over the floor, which she kindly did. Shower was very old. Breakfast was ok, a bit less than is typical these days. Staff was pleasant.

Worst hotel ever
This hotel has seen its day. Everything was beat - bed springs, be covers, shower appearance and most important there was ONLY boiling water in the shower. AVOID this property at all costs

Hot tub didn't work, guy at front desk didn't care, said he would let his boss know in a couple of days. Tv didn't work, fixed after a couple of hours, went out again 2 days later, did not get fixed before we checked out the next morning. breakfast was decent. The lady who worked it was great!

Lovely...but
We loved almost everything about this stay. The pool was heated and lovely, the hot tub was not working but my 4 year-old loved the "cold" pool. Breakfast was fine, folks were friendly, the only really bad part, and why I gave 4, not 5 stars, is because on our last day (we stayed 3 days, out every morning by 930ish) a staff BANGED on my door at 8 am screaming our room number. I was dead asleep (we live in a different time zone as the night before was disturbed) We were gone within the hour. It woke up my 4 year-old, crying as she was disoriented, it just started off as a very bad morning. I let front desk staff know. She was disinterested, saying housekeeping only does that at 9 am.

It looks to have been remodeled recently but still an old building. Staff was great. The free breakfast wasn't so awesome, but it was hot and free so.... didn't use the microwave and the fridge was kind of cold. The room was clean, mattress was new. My 1st complaint is the pillows. Three square pillows no bigger than 18 inches and very lumpy. Very small The 2nd and BIGGEST issue is the shower. It was covered in black mold all around the door and drain. The floor had some dark residue and old caked on Comet Cleaner. I scrapped some off and it smelled like Comet. The fan didn't really work and made clucking noises, which probably didn't help the mold situation. Very disappointing, especially for what they are charging to stay there. Not going back. I'll post pics if it allows me.
