the views, the lake

Our key card didn't work the 1st time trying to get into the room. And then again on the 3rd day. It was odd. Towels were not replenished and when we asked at the desk they said they didn't do that you had to ask which is no problem however the check in employee should let the customer know that at check in. Overall the resort is great. Nice location to the dam and into town. Beautiful scenery.

No housekeeping and double charged me

the line to check in was pretty long and there was only one person doing it. The room was not ready yet around 4.30pm so we had to wait to get the key. Once we got the key and went to our room, the room was still not ready

We used to love this place but now it's terrible. First, the man who was working the desk on Sunday afternoon was awful. He was yelling at guests, it was so ridiculous. We arrived 30 minutes before 4pm & he was yelling at someone else "check in isn't until 4 we won't even look at your reservation before 4!!!!" It's one thing to check & say your room isn't ready but he was insanely rude & inappropriate. Then coming back at 4, he's complaining non stop that he doesn't feel well & he should have never come to work. Next, the rooms were disgusting. There was feces on the walls in the bathroom. Carpets were not vacuumed. We receives 3 towels for 4 people & they would not bring additional towels. There is coffee in the room but no cups. There were fire ants crawling everywhere. Restraunt staff was rude. Coffee bar was out of so many things they would've had better luck telling you what they could make instead of the laundry list of things they were out of. Could not get ice. Really just too many problems...

Got to the hotel to check in at 5:30 after a long day on the lake. Was told the rooms weren’t ready. Blamed on being sold out the night before and they only had 3 maids. Finally texted us at 8 pm to let us know the rooms were ready. Not happy. And rooms were dirty and out dated

Would come back again.

This is the list outdated property that I have stayed at. The furniture in the room looked like it was picked up from a garage sale in the 1970’s. Awful. Stains on carpet and a gap between the entry door and the floor. You can bend down and see the hallway. I had to stuff towels in the area to make sure no critters made their way in. I also had to request new towels because ours was brown. Just gross inside. Outside of property is nicely maintained.

It was a good place to stay, I would recommend. The only thing is you have to have a national parks pass to get to the property which is $30.00. It does not state that anywhere in the booking. It would not of kept us from going, but it sure would have been nice to know we needed to pay additional money to stay at the resort.

The setting of the property is still great even though the lake level is way down. The kitchen was very good. The property had only opened the week before and so people were still working out the kinks. The person at the registration was so obviously fed up/disinterested with his job that he was real downer.

The rooms are very clean and I feel safe on the property.

An awesome place to stay with amazing views!! Clean rooms and friendly staff.

The location close to the lake was positive but not so exceptional. Rooms are a bit run down (stained carpeting, telephone not working), tissue box was empty when we arrived and some detergent dispensers in the room were empty. We stayed two nights and the second day the room was not serviced (beds not done, room and bathroom not cleaned, towels not changed) due to COVID - at least this is what a note given at check-in said, even though the fact that the room would have not been serviced was not clear. It seems more an excuse to cover personnel shortage. Additionally, one has to pay $30 for the park entrance fee in order to reach the hotel. This was not immediately visible when reserving the room. I was told by the manager that the info is present on the hotel website. The front desk manager was very professional and offered a compensation for the shortcomings. It would be recommendable to fix the housekeeping issues and highlight at the time of reservation both the park fee and the fact that rooms will not be serviced.

Old and needs updated.

Very nice property and views. Rooms are clean but a little out dated.

March is considered pre-season therefore no breakfast available. This is a bit of a probkem because any restaurant is miles away.

Great place

I booked a king size bedroom but i just arrived here. The front guy assigned a room and I found out it is two queen bedroom. I called front desk and ask to change the room type since I didn’t touch anything but they said there is no more king size bedroom… I don’t know why I booked a king size bedroom and they assigned the room to others? Kinda upset and leave. No way to get my money back.
