Loved the property, gotta be careful about what pool bar you use as some are not covered by the all inclusive. Food was excellent. Staff was amazing in all aspects! Bring plenty of $1. To tip everyone! Only real issue we had was there is street racing parties that take place till starting Friday night at 8:00 until 430am Saturday. It is very loud. Consider Friday to Friday stays.

The buffet food doesn’t change for break and lunch it’s the same thing every day. Food wasn’t good. Staff not friendly . Service was slow .

The property is right on the beach and if you reach early enough you can find a spot which makes it convenient to access the beach and their pool fairly easily. Everything is walkable. Food options are limited for vegeterian / vegan folks. There are ample water sports (paid) between Tamarijn and Divi. Included amenities are quite limited as well and are first come first serve. Tamarijn has quite a few ocean facing rooms. But the 2nd floor rooms do not have an elevator and can only be accessed by stairs. On the other hand, Divi has a lot of non-ocean facing rooms and they have elevators on the units which have rooms on 3rd floor. The check in and check out procedures are horribly slow. Staff is polite and helpful but you need to keep throwing options to make it work. We had a family member who couldnt use stairs and the hotel was apparently fully booked so they couldnt switch us to a ground level room. We had to ask them if they could give us something on their sister property and that worked. But we had to trade off our ocean view for that. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are changed but sheets are not. We had a bug on one of our beds which we had to kill and its blood stain was present on the bed till the day we left. The hotel isnt very accommodating with policies. We had to leave early by 1 day for medical emergency and they just chose to not refund the stay cost despite showing them evidence of the medical emergency.

Our room was oceanfront and had a beautiful view. Our resort had a large quiet pool close by. The dining options were many and the food was excellent. Be sure to make your dining reservations two days in advance and you will be fine. The resort was beautiful and walkable, everything was wonderful, highly recommend!!
