I had to fix the toilet handle (tightening nut had fallen off) and the shower head (loose on the stem). Also, the AC was not up to the task of keeping the room cool at night.

This was my second time staying here. The location is excellent - easy access to subway, lots of dining options nearby. The lobby seating areas are a great amenity - a calm place to hang out away from the noise of the city. The rooms are extremely well designed with cubbies under the bed and window seats to store luggage out of the way making the typically small New York hotel room much more functional. Service requests are handled quickly and without question. I will not hesitate to stay again the next time I'm in NYC.

Good, not all that great hospitality
Serving customer needs improvement and unsatisfactory experience hospitality some staff are friendly some are not especially service level lacks professionalism and attentive to and receptive understanding. I booked 2 rooms for 5 days for business travel through third party hotels.com. Several instances the hotel staffing comes with attitude it was difficult to get assistance about my booking payment and mishandling discrepancy on over charge's I had brought to their attention. Myself and colleagues was there business trip our company exhibited at Javits for Coffee Fest event. Quite a disappointment, staff hospitality needs training on people skills!
