Overall, we had a great stay. I was very worried about the cleanliness after reading many reviews claiming the rooms to not be clean. Overall, the room was clean with the exception of food being found underneath the rug (on both sides). Most people probably wouldn't even check under the rug, but I am a bit paranoid when it comes to staying in hotel rooms.
Aside from the food, we arrived on a rainy day and water was coming into the room. Although it quickly receded, that's not a great sign. Additionally, the shower door hinges sounded like they were going to fall off every time the door was opened. Super loud to the point where you would not be able to take a shower if someone was sleeping in the room.
For what Loews charges per night (comparable to 1 hotel, W) the rooms should be updated a bit. For example, the lampshades seemed to be falling apart and the toilet paper holder was basically on the ground.
Aside from those few hiccups, I was pleased with the stay. The service is top notch. I visited Fontainebleau my previous two times in Miami and I have to say, the service is 100x better at Loews. Beach food service was super quick and at FB we waited hours for food, sometimes not ever receiving it.
