I’ve stayed at East many many times reserving the standard rooms, Bay View Rooms, 2 BD residence, and now the Corner King room. Over the years, I recommended this hotel to many others. It’s been a little over a year since my last stay so I decided to come back for Mother’s Day. Things have changed…some for better like the updated pool area. However, the rooms have not been well-maintained and it shows. My toilet had issues since day 1. Many calls for repairs but only temp solutions. The TV didn’t work 4 out of the 6 day stay. Many calls to get that fixed, as well. Once, I had to wait 2 hrs to a tech to come. The shower has an infestation of these small black flies with big wings. I had to kill them during each shower. The front desk staff aren’t on top of it. They aren’t informed and their communication isn’t the greatest either. I’ve sworn by this hotel for so long but it’s definitely gone downhill while the rates continue to increase. A big disappointment! On the positive side - their new pool staff are great!!

Super hi-tech hotel. Gorgeous rooms. Could use more dining options especially for breakfast. Super helpful and friendly check-in staff. Only complaint was that we tried to order ice on 3 different occasions by i-pad and phone and never got it. The only way was to go down to the front desk and they immediately took care of it.

Very expensive for what you get in return, our TV didn't work, phone didn't work, unit was almost 900 for a single night plus 55 valet. Not really worth the price. Extremely loud area between construction and parties. Was some of the worst sleep I had.
