We initially booked five nights and decided to extend another six nights. In addition to being convenient to Zocalo where all hop-on buses start out each day as well as a number museums are located, we liked the neighborhood and the number of dining (two great restaurants in the hotel) and shopping options including several department stores and five drug stores. The service was exceptional including front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping team. Very special mention to Edgar, the concierge, who assisted us a number of times including helping us address a medical issue. He made our trip experience exceptional. The actual building is historic. The rooms are generous and comfortable. We also thought the beds were great. The clients were a mix of tourists and business types. The breakfast was a combination of western and local favorites. Overall a memorable stay. We will return.

We chose the hotel for an 11 night vacation stay. We made our decision based on reviews and overall customer rating. The location is in the Historic Quarter and three blocks from the Zocalo. We used Turitours Hop On Hop Bus with four routes covering many attractions and historic sites. Tours offering hotel pickup were very familiar with the hotel as well. The breakfast is very good and offers a mix of American and Mexican breakfast options. We have been particularly impressed with the positive energy of the staff at all levels. We have seldom experienced better - comparable to Japan. We will certainly stay here again.

We arrived early, way before our check in time, yet the front desk give us our room because eas available already, she directs us to breakfast area., this was. Around 8:00 o’clock am. Usually the check in is around 3:0 pm. This place Rocks! , Not to mention that is close to the Zocalo Area, pristine historic area In Mexico City!!!!!

This is a very serviceable mid-level quality property right in the center of Mexico City. While front office staff was efficient and friendly, the inability to provide smaller bills for a 500 Peso note was surprising. Breakfast was adequate if occasionally mediocre. Two restaurants in the lobby of the same building were not part of the hotel requiring separate payment arrangements. Housekeeping service was excellent on a daily basis. Fronting on a street near the Central Business District created a bit more noise that would be desirable.
