It is 5 min. walk from the main area but very quiet. Property is maintained and all employees are ready to serve you. For us the best part was they picked up from the station and carried our handbags.

Close to the train station, the bus for Machu Picchu is rightnin front of the hotel. The hotel is simple, clean and breakfast was included. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We were so pleased with our choice of Tiera Viva hotel for our stay in Aguas Calientes. The location is ideal for an early morning start at Machu Picchu and they offer breakfast starting at 4.3am. You are also a 2 minute walk to restaurants and shopping.
Excellent location but our balcony was facing a place with a lot of garbage which I didn’t expect in a pricey hotel. The room was clean and front desk personnel very kind. Wifi worked only in public areas, not in the room.
A very nice place to stay before or after Machu Picchu. Beautiful views over the river, and a very comfortable a room. The location was great; close to town and the bus to Machu Picchu, but still quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Would 100% recommend.
