This was our first trip to Las Vegas! We chose the Golden Nugget for the location of the casino opening up to Fremont Street. We were not disappointed as far as entertainment. The front desk staff was very confrontational upon our arrival and departure. There was nobody in the registration area when we were checking out, but there was two ladies that were near the area where you get keys, she informed me that I need to be in the other line and I said nobody’s at that desk then she said you don’t need to check out and I said I would like a receipt and she’s like for future reference ma’am that’s the line you stand in. When we arrived, the lady at the desk did not know how to check us in and it took 25 minutes with nobody else in front of us, but one person who was already in the process of checking in. She didn’t explain us what the problem was we were standing there exhausted kept looking for someone to help and never apologized. We were not able to swim as the hours on the sign were wrong the whole time they never changed it when we asked about it. The staff said that was summer hours well it’s not summer yet so why do you have summer hours up saying it’s open till nine? We were never able to do any of the swimming.

I checked in after a long delayed flight and was given my room which was occupied, im lucky i didnt get killed trying to unlock the door of an occupied room. Thankfully it was an older women like myself who came to the door.
